Pine Hills Golf Course

About
Pine Hills Golf Course sprawls across a scenic landscape that an abundance of wildlife also calls home. The course is in Laingburg, Mich., just 20 minutes from East Lansing. The layout weaves through mature forests and wetlands that adding to both the scenery and the level of difficulty. The site was used as farmland until the 1960s when it was converted to a nine-hole golf course. The next generation of the family that the land belonged to added another nine to make the course what it is today. Water or trees frame every hole. Beware of the seemingly mild appearance of some holes, they can be harder than you think. Pine Hills Golf Course is player friendly enough for beginners to enjoy but there are risk/reward opportunities throughout that make it versatile enough for players of any skill level.

Lost a couple Balls in fareway due to leaves but that’s expected this time of Year!!! Awesome Staff!! Love this Course, especially end of October in the 70 ‘s !!!
Course review.
Overall a great experience, looking forward to playing it again when in the area.
Rained really hard but it didn’t hold me back!
The owner is very hands on and personable. Played really well despite the soggy conditions. Postage stamp size greens are really cool. Never seen anything like it. Short but not easy! I’ll be back -
Bang for your buck!

Whether you're a seasoned golfer looking for a new challenge or a recreational player wanting to immerse yourself in natural beauty, Pine Hills Golf Course delivers a first-class golfing experience that is both satisfying and rejuvenating
Worst Course I every played - Walked off so bad
This was absolutely, the worst course I have ever played. We walked off after hole 6 as this was extremely unplayable. Clover leaves everywhere, greens were awful. Even though just aerated, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Rocks on greens and sand everywhere. Greens are mounded on most holes, so totally unplayable. Layout is very funky including have to drive down service roads to get to fairway. As for that, no way you could tell the difference in fairway vs. rough. This basically sums it up: There is also a disc golf course on this piece of garbage. I drove out here, because I like to check out new courses and got a good deal on Golf Now. What a mistake! The backside was being aerated, so we were supposed to play the front twice. We did not want to do that at all! I've been playing golf for 41 years and I have never seen something like this and have never walked off a course before. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Out there
Course was well cared for. It was difficult with disc golfers playing alongside golfers. Not sure who was playing where. Course could use some updates like a paved parking lot and the cart paths need to be grated. It was fairly challenging and in good shape. Hole 18 is a joke - 2 par 3's made into an odd par 5. If it was not so far off the beaten path I'd play it again.
Friendly staff and all around nice course. Love the clubhouse house dog she is soooo cute.
Good time
Great value every time. Course was in real good shape and a low degree of difficulty. Staff is nice and best beer prices at a golf course in the area.
