Castle Creek Golf Club

The rates are the best in the thumb. The course has improved every year. The course condition has improved every year since I first played it in 2014 . The owners are committed to promoting golf and have a youth program. Friendly helpful staff , bargain greens fees, and fun layout make Castle Creek a course worth a little car ride. Highly recommended.

They have done major improvements, with more to come they say. Great bang for your buck!

Showed up a little early and went rate off. Course was in fantastic shape with friendly staff. Looking forward to playing again.

Nice course nestled in the countryside. Like playing this course at least once a year. It has the island hole which is a challenge. We were able to play at a leisurely pace only having a couple ahead of us and a few players behind us. Great staff, always friendly. We will definitely play this course again.

Other than slow greens this course is well worth the trip! I would recommend it!

Greens were very slow and shaggy. Score card was inadequate regarding course information. kitchen was closed. For the money was OK but was not what we expected.

Super friendly staff. Very clean course with an amazing clubhouse. Challenging and fun for all skill levels. Ill definitely be back this season.

We love this course. Good layout, greens are always in great shape. Challenging but not too much. We will be back.

I just played there for the first time, and probably the last.
Fairways weren't cut, blue tee boxes were a mess and a ton of unnecessary trees and limbs that made our round unenjoyable.
As for pace of play- our round was 5:15hrs... That was probably because of the lack of organization by the gentleman in the proshop sending guys out on whatever side. However, we got what we paid for... $13/18wcart... Definitely will spend the extra next time.

This place was a dump just a few years back. The new owners are putting money into the course and hiring the right people to maintain it. Always very cheap, always plays fast. Job well done!

Great value at a great price, I will be back. Some of the best holes I have ever played.

Fun course not too challenging which makes it a great course for beginners.

The miserable person at the pro shop should stick to cutting grass and not be allowed near the paying public, other than that this place has improved 100% since the last time I played it. The green were in great shape although a little on the slow side.

New owners trying to improve what could be a nice layout. Greens are coming back, fairways need work.

Course was in fairly rough shape. But it is early in the year. Hope they keep up where they left off last year. Was in bad shape for years. The new owners have done quite a bit already to improve conditions. The folks in the clubhouse were very nice

I wouldn't call this a golf course. It was more like a large field with 18 holes and pins placed randomly. I couldn't tell which green I was hitting at. There was no distinction between teebox, fairway, or rough. Most of the course was really muddy (time of year doesn't help in their defense). I was the only car in the parking lot besides the one man running the clubhouse (should've been a hint to turn around and drive away), who wasn't the least bit friendly either. I played 5 holes that didn't seem to match the scorecard, had enough of this horrible "course" and drive the cart straight back to the clubhouse. I've never picked up and not finished at least 9 holes in my life.

I won't be returning here and wouldn't recommend this course to anybody.
