Gold/Red at Bello Woods Golf Course

Went out for an early season rounds with the wife. The course is set up as 3 9 hole courses. Ill be back to play the 3rd soon! The course was fun to play pretty straight fairways. The courses all inter weave so you gotta pay attention to the pin box plaques and the color of the hole number. Staff was great got me set up and golf carts are good for the course. The paths are a little tricky in some spots but biggest warning is keep your head on a swivel and cause balls will be landing 5-10 feet from you most will be uncalled lol.. overall worth the 30-40 bucks for the 18 holes. Im sure closer to season the course will be better maintained so dont expect much as far as great greens or fairways this early. Great course for beginners!

Greens are in good shape. Everything else… not so much. Fairways are burned up and splotchy. There are spots with no grass at all. The layout of the course itself is also quite pedestrian. Value was good as I got a “Hot Deal”. I would not pay full price to play here.

Cheap rates...course is in okay shape.

Played later in season and hardly any golfers on course.

Gets pretty crowded during summertime

Staff is friendly and swift. We had a cart steering issue and Shane was right on the scene after we called. Didn’t lose a minute of pace. The course is very challenging and the greens are a good speed! Challenge your game with this links beauty!

Okay, So... I LOVED this course and can't wait to return.

My only concern, and I wish they had told me prior to heading out is... They have 2 courses of 9 holes. A Red and a White.

I had no idea, so my friend and I drove around trying to locate hole 10 and came across a few holes under 9 that didn't look familiar, making us both think we were crazy and somehow missed them or something.

On the Plus Side... I hit a ball 274 Yards. My average is 150 yards, so I'm not complaining one bit, LOL

Really nice coarse for the money. Enough room so you’re not feeling like everyone is right up on you. Playing again in few weeks

Fairways were in bad condition. Mower driver kept mowing close to us while we were hitting. He also froce over my wife's ball before we got to it. Will never play here again.

First time playing here. I played Red and White. I hear Gold is better. Why did I wait so long!

The greens are well kept some ball marks left by heathens, but so it goes. Some long holes mixed with some short ones. Overall I enjoyed it and I would recommend it.

The fairways have been let go. There are large portions where there’s no grass. Just hard packed dirt and clovers. It plays right up against others so you constantly have people hitting into you and all over the fairway you’re trying to play. It’s has good holes and some redeeming qualities but overall I would say try another course if you enjoy a faster pace and nicer holes.

Paid $30 at 6:37pm played 9 holes by myself in about an hour. Went to play next 9 and was stopped and asked if I paid for 18. I asked if it was twilight and they told me they don’t do that. The kid wouldn’t allow me to pay the difference for the 2nd 9. Super poor customer service. I will not be back.
