No twilight
Paid $30 at 6:37pm played 9 holes by myself in about an hour. Went to play next 9 and was stopped and asked if I paid for 18. I asked if it was twilight and they told me they don’t do that. The kid wouldn’t allow me to pay the difference for the 2nd 9. Super poor customer service. I will not be back.
Lack of organizion
Played 18 on Red and White courses. When we made the turn to the white course. Pace was very slow. We notice there was a 6 some playing on two holes ahead of us.
Since this is an easy course, you have to watch for shots coming cross into the fairways, which causes you to wait to take your shot on your fairway.
Lots of issues would not recommend
The price per round was low, but not worth it because we could not enjoy our round. We teed off at about 11:15 AM (on a weekday). We ran into someone mowing the grass around the green at hole 2. No problem, but the mowing followed us for the next 3 holes. Mowing both the tee box and green areas. He was mowing around the tee box while we were trying to tee off. Maybe someone needs to tell them to mow backwards so they only run into groups once. The fairways on the red course had no grass at all, just dirt and clovers. Golfers are just packed onto the course without a ranger monitoring pace of play. We waited to hit on every shot. Every tee box was 3 groups deep waiting to tee off. This was the least enjoyable round I've ever had. I would not recommend this course.
Don't go in June
This course may be better in the Fall, but in early June it's all cotton and mosquitos. The course was really a mess from the cottonwood pollen. Anyone with allergies would have been miserable. On top of that, the mosquitos were bad. I was continuously pulling huge wads of wet cotton off my cleats. It was very unpleasant.
Amazing Course
I love this course and would recommend it to other people.
Spring in Michigan
The course was fine for the spring in Michigan, it was a soggy due to the weather. The 3 9 hole courses were too close on some holes. My playing partner was hit with an errant shot. This can happen anywhere, but it was where two fairways were very close to each other. The playing speed that says was great.
Course Confusion
Played the red course. No signs whatsoever to get from hole 4 to 5, 6 or 7. Map on scorecard no help either.
