Red/White at Bello Woods Golf Course

First off, the value for the money out weigh the negatives. It can be a tight course, with balls flying from one fairway to the next all over the place. It is 27 holes, but probably should be only 18. Greens were good, most tee boxes were good. All in all, a great time.

Course looks great ,people are very nice. The carts are new ,great value always a good time.

My father and i just wanted to play a quick 9 holes so we picked bello woods due to they have 3 seperate 9 hole courses. Things where going great through 3 holes. Course was in good condition. We got stuck behind a 4some snd they wouldn't let us play through which was rude. No ranger out to inform which was troubling. Other then that good place to play.

This is a nice enough course. Brand new carts. Club house and bathrooms are clean! This day the second cut around the greens had a lot of tufts but otherwise was in pretty good shape. Fairways are close together..so errant drives had others playing from our fairways.

As a side note: Ladies don't get much advantage on the White course and there are a number of VERY long par 4 holes (355-399). So unless you drive 200+ yds it is impossible to get to GIR. Will play the Gold course next time.

Always have fun here. Weather finally came around course still needs time to dry out, But still playable.

This is my go to course right now, The Owners are super people.

Much improved from the last time I played here. Greens were 9.5 out of 10. Bunkers were very nice and raked well. Brand new golf carts, rebuilt bridges. They definitely put some money back into the place and it shows.

First time playing this and will not return. 13 handicap golfer, way below my normal standard. This course is for new or bad golfers. There was literally no fairway and poor conditions throughout. My issues:

- 3 courses of 9 holes, no starter or directions for the match

- flat course, almost no elevation changes

- very straight and short course

- fairway and rough were all cut same like a mid rough throughout

- fairways stack up on each other, other players constantly in your way

- errant balls posed frequent hazard during play

- turned a par 5 into a

Positives

- cheap hot dogs and drinks

- inexpensive round, get what you pay for

Course was in good shape for fall. Leaves weren't much of an issue on white and red ninrs. Gold is a different story. Considering price paid on hot deal, I was quite pleased with everything.

Course was in decent condition after heavy rain yesterday. Some good golf holes mixed in with so-so ones on white - red nines. All in all a "good" golf course at a better than average price.

Love this course, Pace of play very good with 3 Nine hole layout. We hate slow play and being hooked up with strangers that have no golf etiquette.

We enjoyed are round. Great place they never try and hook you up with unknown people. We finished in abut 3 hrs 15 mins. We have played 9 holes in as fast as 1hr 15 mins on the day of the eclipse. The greens can be tricky in holes.

Had a good time a little slow though. kind of a short course but still a lot of fun, We will go back again.

I call Bello Woods my home course because the owners and staff make me feel at home here. Always friendly, professional, and appreciative of their clients' business.

They host a lot of outings, many for charities. That proves to me that they care about their surrounding communities.

The course is challenging, well-maintained, and beautifully landscaped. I particularly love all the frogs, and tributes to their family members.

The course was in surprisingly good condition. I have played it in the past and it has been in rough shape, but I was happy with the condition this time around. The pace of play was solid, until I got caught behind a 4some that took about 3 holes to let me play through. All together it took me and 1 other gentleman (We got paired together being as we were both playing by ourselves) about 3 hours to play 18. Sometimes the hole layouts are pretty simple, but for the place it is not a bad course.

Course in excellent shape. Play nine on the Whites and play it under 2 hours. Tee time was at 8:30 AM.

So bello woods has an "all you can golf" rate of $30. So when you book a tee time, there could be a 15 minute wait for each shot like there was today. We played 9 holes in about 3 hours because of this rate. How do you give out tee times with an all you can golf rate?
