Love this course
Truly a well up kept course, even this early in the season. Love playing here!
One of the best in South Central Michigan
Has everything you like in a challenging course. Must keep ball in the fairway to really score well.
Greens are fast and fair (except during the superintendents challenge). You won't regret stopping here to play!
We are glad you enjoy our facility and appreciate you taking the time to rate our facility. As far as our Superintendent's Revenge tournament we believe the greens are still fair but the Superintendent puts the pins in unfair positions, ha. He loves getting his revenge that one time each year.
Up North Course in Southern Michigan
I have been playing the Medalist for years. Beautiful course, with many T box locations to challenge your level of skill. Lowell Weaver great guy and will work to get you your best rate and time. Outside deck overlooking the 18th green is awesome.
Course always in great shape with some great views like up north.

Great course for the money
The course is about an hour north of my home - me and several of my golf buddies go there to golf each year - I have never heard one of them say anything negative about the course. This last trip I brought three friends who had never played The Medalist - all three want to get up there one more time this season! They enjoyed the course despite the rain we had during the first few holes.
We appreciate you traveling a significant distance to play our facility and are glad you enjoy your time here. We look forward to seeing you in 2019.
Tough track
Need to stay in the fairway or you pay. Always a pleasure to play. All the best in golf. Water, hills, woods, nice greens....fun time
Great Experience
Conditions and staff are always top notch here. One of the best layouts in SW MI for sure. Staff is always top notch as well, worth the drive from Paw Paw. Right there with Heritage Glen but a friendlier staff for sure.

Surprising gem in Marshall
The Medalist is a well designed course with great views and challenging greens. The greens are in great shape and have subtle breaks that will test your putting skill. The course is fair, but you have to bring some game to score well. The staff was very accommodating, and the overall experience was wonderful. We will be back.

Played early
8 o'clock tee time finished at 11:50 am. Good time for a foursome.
We are glad you enjoyed our facility and took the time to rate us. We are proud of our pace of play, it is a tough course but with the help of our GPS system our pace of play very rarely goes over 4 hours and 10 minutes. Hopefully we will see you again soon.
Great Mix of Woods, Ponds
An excellent layout that places a premium on a well places drive. Large greens that are easy to hit, and also easy to three putt. Many scenic holes that will make you pause and comment on the beauty the course design. Great course design offering allowing for many risk reward shots.
Great course
I will play again. Had a great time and the course was in great shape.
Greens were not holding well, but we had consecutive 90 degree days. Other than that course was in very good shape.

Tourney prep
My son had not played golf for 3 weeks due to school exams. Wanted to play a good course before he participated in a Jr Golf Tour event. We enjoyed the course and it was a good challenging tune up for the tourney. We really enjoyed our round and plan on playing again before we return to our home in Europe in August

Condition of course was excellent, pace of play was fast as there was not a group in front of us for two holes and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will play here again even though we are 40 miles from the course

A group cut in at the turn then finally let me go ahead. Then the original twosome who never let me go ahead wandered all over the place . Great golf course
We are sorry to hear that you had some problems with other golfers on the course. We frown upon people cutting in front of others on the course so if you ever run into that issue again please inform our pro shop and they will take care of the situation.
Spring Golf
Course played like it was summer conditions. Fairways and bunkers were perfect. Greens rolled fair for time of year.
Ownership has upgraded the course over the winter and it has shown.

The course is always fun to play. Hopefully greens will get better as year goes. Looks like some of the greens have some fungus.
