Belle River Golf Course

For the time for the year it is, the course was great for some golf. Greens wasn’t as good as it would be in summer but it was worth playing.

Kept seeing this course off the highway. A friend and I finally decided to play it. There were quite a few challenging holes. It really stepped up our course management game. There were a few holes along the highway that got a little noisy. Otherwise, I couldn't complain about anything.

You can tell the new owners are trying very hard to make this a very good course.

We were told when we arrived that they were aerating and sanding the greens but the guy in the pro shop told us to just skip those holes if they were working on them and play extras else where! Great attitude!

The bar/restaurant is very nice along with the staff.

2 hours and 20 minutes to get to 8 holes. Had to walk off. Nobody at course was pushing people along. Terrible

The shot of Fireball was watered down. Disappointed. Course has potential. Grow more grass.

The whole course is rough, there is no fairway that exists. The greens are in rough condition as well. Pace of play was good because nobody wants to play this course. Wasn’t horrible value for $20, 18 holes, but I wouldn’t play for a penny more.

I have never seen greens in such terrible condition. Not much difference between fairway and rough on most holes. Get your crap together and hire a decent greenskeeper or lower your rates. Will not be back. Not everyone is cut out to own a golf course.
