About
Golden Hawk Golf Club is an 18-hole course in Casco Township, which is just south of Richmond. You won't find too many elevation changes throughout the course but you will encounter plenty of water. There are also 36 bunkers coming into play on 12 holes. The course isn't particularly long at 6,117 yards from the back tees, but the par 4s offers some good length and the ample room off the fairways gives the course a spacious feel. The fairways are generous and quite forgiving, but golfers will face tough approaches to the greens, which are often nestled into the woods or bordered by ponds. The slightly elevated, undulating putting surfaces require accuracy. Golden Hawk Golf Club is a fair test but it's player friendly enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence.

Nice Layout, Conditions Needs TLC
Golden Hawk was recommended to me by other golfers so I made the 50 minute trek to the course. The layout is nice and it fun to play, but the course needs some TLC. Every green appeared to have fungus on it and it killed parts of the grass. I also felt sorry for the course because the recent rain caused some wet areas and previous players ran their carts through it leaving deep ruts as a result. With some TLC, the play would be much more enjoyable especially the greens. I also wish there was a way to enforce players to fix their ball marks. I probably fixed an average of 3 ball marks per green. Sad, but true. It should be a badge of honor to have to repair a ball mark. I again, met some nice people to play with. Always a bonus.
Nice layout
First time playing. Tee boxes a little rough. Greens in nice shape. Think due to previous weather mowing seemed a little behind. I think with a little more TLC can be a much nicer which would have made the price seem better. Thought for a week day round and conditions it was a little overpriced.
Golden Hawk
Great course for the money. Staff were also very friendly.
Ask questions before play
Make sure you ask if there are any outings or large groups in front of you before you make your teatime. I did not ask that question and it took almost three hours to play the Front nine. Otherwise, this course is great.
slow play
they refused to pair 2 some up. way too slow. 5.5 hours. 10 dollar deposit for bucket. brought in extra bucket refused to give me the extra 10. rude unfriendly staff. Problem wont be back, Only put recommend to friend cus worth a try once
Good course
The course was in good shape. Signage around d the clubhouse could be better if you want the carts going further away than most people. Took key inside and guy said “ what is that” then told me to take it to the barn.
Great Value
This is a nice layout with a great price, course was dry so ball ran a little bit, but course has hazards all over it but is fair
Golden Hawk
Decided to grab 9 holes at twilight.
First time there and was thoroughly impressed.
Course was in great shape and fun to play.
Great course Great value
Everything was great. Pace was slow on the front. Ranger speed it up on the back. We will be back for sure
Jabdilla review
We got a lot of rain the night before so course was on the wet side.staff was very friendly and gave compliments to my grandson regarding his play.groundskeeper Mike also spotted my wedge near green and brought it to us.
Great course, challenge and reward
It was a sweltering July day and we teed off around 8:05 AM. There was nobody in front of us and nobody behind us until the fourth, where we ran into a foursome in front of us that had a really decent piece of play, but, offered to let us play through as a twosome on the 10th. Of course, was in great shape. But had several areas that were extremely wet bunkers were raked, and the greens putted true.
