Michigan Meadows Golf Course

Nice, straightforward golf course. The course and greens were covered by leaves but it’s later October. It’s good just to play this late in the season!!!

Greens were heavily sanded after aeration and work being done on one prevented me from completing hole. Tee's were sometimes in the fairway and the course looked rough from compared to a month ago. Only one person running the entire place and just not worth the money.

I have to say that this was one of the worst courses I've played, the greens looked like the first cut of rough, the maintenance on the over all course was terrible and the layout is not good. I only played there because a bunch of guys from work went. And on top of that they charge 55 dollars for a cow pasture.

Played here for the first time using a Hot Deal. Great value. Nice local course. Some challenging layouts. Place of play was great. Great restaurant and staff. Alissa the bartender was great, above average food for a local course. Would definitely go back.

Every time we play here the course has gotten better, the drainage is extremely better and Sunday there was a lot of sand in bunkers ready.

Worst round of golf this year. No starters so it was as a free for all. Greens are poor at best. Stafff doesn’t have a clue on how to run a golf course.

Waited on hole 15 with 5 other groups before calling it quits.

This is not my first time playing Michigan Meadows, but it was one of the most disappointing. The rough grass was about 4 inches high and I could not find several golf balls even though I knew exactly where they went. Mind you if I was a better golfer, I probably wouldn’t be having that problem, but I am a subpar golfer who goes there because it’s not too expensive, they have new carts, and a friendly staff. Overall, this is a great place to practice golf but allow their greens have been affected by some sort of mold and they were more like the browns. I’m still gonna go back there because with GolfNow you can play 18 holes in under four hours did not break the bank. It’s $44 for two players for 18 holes with a hot deal.

For the money it was good unfortunately a lot of rain so it was pretty wet but I’d play it again

The course was wet, of course so we had to stay on the cart path. The staff was very pleasant.

Season is wrapping up, so wherever you can hit the ball is a great place. Michigan Meadows is about a 35 minute trip for me, but the course is really hacker friendly and has just enough water hazards to keep it interesting…They have let all the bunkers ( there are a lot) to go back to nature, which is disappointing, and the falling leaves made losing a ball in the middle of the fairway a constant source of irritation, but the very quiet peaceful location makes all things good… Greens remain in fair condition, and it seems the geese, for now, have decided to poop elsewhere. Overall a very pleasant experience…

thanks for reading our review in full disclosure. I am the owner of Michigan Meadows golf course. We had taken over the course four years ago and we have done a lot of work on this course. We brought in 100 train loads of limestone to redo all our cart paths we also did a lot of work on their fairways and greens. We are in the process of working on our bunkers. We hope to have sand in them by next year of 2026 so we just want to give an update to the golfers. A great little course very fair cost to play. Come check us out. we also have a full service restaurant to service the golfers and the general public.. an updated fleet of golf carts with USB ports

I purchased a Hot deal on Golf Now for 12:50 p.m. for 18 holes for 4 people. When we arrived at the course, the person at the counter said they were "going to close early". Not sure what that meant but we ventured out to play our round. We had 2 fairly new golfers and weren't playing fast but made the turn around 3:10. I did not go to the clubhouse but 2 of our golfers did. APPARENTLY - they were told that the golf course was SHUTTING DOWN at 5 p.m. I was unaware of this fact as our 4some reached the 15th green at 5 p.m. We were "approached" by a "ranger" who started swearing at us immediately saying we had no respect for him or his family. I had no clue what his problem was but after several more swear words from the ranger, we left the hole and headed back to the clubhouse.

When we arrived, the "ranger" apologized" and said he was wrong for how he acted. Ya' think??? He even offered to have our group come back and play 9 holes on him.

I have never in my 40+ years of golf been treated so poorly. I will NEVER come back to this course and sadly will NEVER recommend it to anyone else.

What I like most about this course is that is not close to any busy roads or intersections. 85% of the course has played very quiet very peaceful. The course is the average public course, they don’t take care of their sand traps but the course in general, including the greens were in very good shape. There was several long holes that are fun to play, so it’s always nice to get out and stretch your legs.

Played here enough to know the course isn’t gonna be in good shape, the pace supply will be good. Rarely have I had any major issues with Michigan Meadows. There is no court girl on the course, but their refrigerators are stocked. Always a friendly staff carts run good. Easy access to your car with your clubs.
