Michigan Meadows Golf Course

thanks for reading our review in full disclosure. I am the owner of Michigan Meadows golf course. We had taken over the course four years ago and we have done a lot of work on this course. We brought in 100 train loads of limestone to redo all our cart paths we also did a lot of work on their fairways and greens. We are in the process of working on our bunkers. We hope to have sand in them by next year of 2026 so we just want to give an update to the golfers. A great little course very fair cost to play. Come check us out. we also have a full service restaurant to service the golfers and the general public.. an updated fleet of golf carts with USB ports

I purchased a Hot deal on Golf Now for 12:50 p.m. for 18 holes for 4 people. When we arrived at the course, the person at the counter said they were "going to close early". Not sure what that meant but we ventured out to play our round. We had 2 fairly new golfers and weren't playing fast but made the turn around 3:10. I did not go to the clubhouse but 2 of our golfers did. APPARENTLY - they were told that the golf course was SHUTTING DOWN at 5 p.m. I was unaware of this fact as our 4some reached the 15th green at 5 p.m. We were "approached" by a "ranger" who started swearing at us immediately saying we had no respect for him or his family. I had no clue what his problem was but after several more swear words from the ranger, we left the hole and headed back to the clubhouse.

When we arrived, the "ranger" apologized" and said he was wrong for how he acted. Ya' think??? He even offered to have our group come back and play 9 holes on him.

I have never in my 40+ years of golf been treated so poorly. I will NEVER come back to this course and sadly will NEVER recommend it to anyone else.

What I like most about this course is that is not close to any busy roads or intersections. 85% of the course has played very quiet very peaceful. The course is the average public course, they don’t take care of their sand traps but the course in general, including the greens were in very good shape. There was several long holes that are fun to play, so it’s always nice to get out and stretch your legs.

Played here enough to know the course isn’t gonna be in good shape, the pace supply will be good. Rarely have I had any major issues with Michigan Meadows. There is no court girl on the course, but their refrigerators are stocked. Always a friendly staff carts run good. Easy access to your car with your clubs.

Was hoping for a great 18 holes. Was placed behind a group of 4 that had no care of time, pace, took an hr a hole. 2 couples behind us. We ended up giving up after 10 holes and 6 hours later.

Handicap space available in front of the restaurant/clubhouse. But no smooth pavement to walk on, carts not allowed in parking lot. They really need to provide a family friendly, handicap accessible spaces and walkways.

Personally, I wouldn’t recommend or visit there again.

They could not pay me to come back and play this course, sand traps look like they haven’t been touched or cared for in a decade, nothing is upkept or on the up and up, long grass everywhere, took the staff 20 minutes to cash me out for my tee time, greens riddled with burnt out spots,, I will never be back.

The course is in good condition for the weather we've been having. The carts are in good shape. The bar and restaurant are good.

The worse absolutely worse sand traps I’ve ever seen on a Mi course. Looks like nobody is grooming the fairways, they need to be cut and leveled badly! The ruts are everywhere and the course has several open pipes and repairs that look awful! We plaid $91 for my wife and I to plays on Father’s Day 2025 and we won’t. E back unless the fees are severely lowered or they actually groom the back nine.

Gotta be one of worst courses I've played. Not able to differentiate between fairways, roughs, and some times greens. Bunkers were just mud/weed holes. Pace of play was outrageously slow. Granted it was a holiday weekend, but stacked 3 or 4 groups deep on each hole is stupid. But the absolute dumbest thing was the beverage lady we saw once, when she was telling everyone its last call, AT 2PM, ON A HOLIDAY WEEKEND!! so they make you wait 30mins btw holes to tee up and can't even get a drink? Beyond dumb management. Longest round of my life, couldnt pay me to play there again
