Pleasant Hills Golf Course
About
Located just south of Mount Pleasant, Pleasant Hills Golf Club is just a few minutes from Central Michigan University and Soaring Eagle Casino. True to its name, the course is spread across gently rolling hills dappled with mature trees. The course is just under 6,050 yards from the back tees. The layout is player friendly enough to appeal to beginners but it still has a few challenges in store from watered fairways to strategically placed bunkers. The golf course offers a nice mix of holes, beginning with a reachable par 5. Pleasant Hills' final hole, also a par 5, is a long straightaway with out-of-bounds lining the right side and a pond on the left. Long hitters will be able to reach it in two and the rest will face an uphill approach to the mid-sized green.

2nd Green. Very large, two tiered green which is tough to hold coming up the hill. Nice view as well as it's one of the highest points on the course. Photo submitted by u314161955381 on 10/27/2022

17th green. Super fun risk reward par five at 512 with water in front of the green. Belted a 5 wood from 235 to here and this was what I had for eagle. I missed it, sadly but still made birdie. Photo submitted by u314161955381 on 10/27/2022

Solid course
First time playing this course while staying at Soring Eagle. Solid course could use some updating. But for the price can't really complain. Good short course I would play again when back in Mt. Pleasent.
Local or Beginner ok
Because of rain probably lack of workers . Long uneven patchy grass in fairways and longer grass in rough makes it difficult to find balls of get a decent lie. Over all very shaggy . $10 is fair price. Nice cozy, well stocked bar to hang out at is the savior
Not So Pleasant
We were a twosome, second group to tee off this morning. The twosome ahead of us teed off on the back 9...don't know why. As we were going up the 9th fairway, we saw an eight some - yes eight some in the first fairway that had just teed off. We made the turn in 1 hour and 15 minutes. When we got to the 10th tee, there were 4 groups on the hole. We didn't have 3 hours to spend to play the back 9 and we couldn't play the front 9 over again because of the eight some, so we packed up our clubs and started the 2-1/2 hour trip back home. I should have known there was going to be a problem, when I called to make the tee time, I was told to just come.
Nice course for the money. Short but fun to play.
Course needs a little more effort on the fairways and tee boxes. Greens were nice lots of slope. I am on vacation and will probably play it again before I leave.
Nice course
Course is nice, in good shape, not fancy but good place to golf. Staff friendly and helpful.
