Located just south of Mount Pleasant, Pleasant Hills Golf Club is just a few minutes from Central Michigan University and Soaring Eagle Casino. True to its name, the course is spread across gently rolling hills dappled with mature trees. The course is just under 6,050 yards from the back tees. The layout is player friendly enough to appeal to beginners but it still has a few challenges in store from watered fairways to strategically placed bunkers. The golf course offers a nice mix of holes, beginning with a reachable par 5. Pleasant Hills' final hole, also a par 5, is a long straightaway with out-of-bounds lining the right side and a pond on the left. Long hitters will be able to reach it in two and the rest will face an uphill approach to the mid-sized green.

2nd Green. Very large, two tiered green which is tough to hold coming up the hill. Nice view as well as it's one of the highest points on the course. Photo submitted by u314161955381 on 10/27/2022

17th green. Super fun risk reward par five at 512 with water in front of the green. Belted a 5 wood from 235 to here and this was what I had for eagle. I missed it, sadly but still made birdie. Photo submitted by u314161955381 on 10/27/2022

Friendly staff
Fun course to play! Lays out nicely for easy navigation!
we had an excellent time on the course. The course is in great condition and the holes are challenging and the staff is very pleasant. We will definitely be going back.
Cheap place to play in a pinch.
The greens were in pretty good shape but the rest of the course was very rough. For ten dollars though it was worth it.
Nice family owned track
Was up in the area to see a concert and wanted to grab an inexpensive round before the event.
I played as a single and the nice lady in the pro shop suggested I go off the back. The course overall was in decent shape, not pristine by any means but well kept for a family joint. Greens were super smooth and very speedy, fairways were and tee boxes were ok.
Overall a great place to sneak in a quick round.
Nice family owned track
Super friendly staff. Very nice greens. Fairly short, but super fun to play. Many par 4’s were very short, but the speed of greens offset the shortness of the course.
First time playing it
Had a very positive experience. It had rained all morning right up to my tee-time, but it stopped and I was able to be the first to tee-off for the day. With all the rain, the course still was surprisingly playable. It’s a very forgiving course, but depending on where they put the hole, the greens can be challenging. I’m not a long hitter by any means, and this course complimented my game. Staff was very friendly, even with the stress of the weather. I definitely want to go back and play again before I leave town.
Good bang for your buck
Good course, geese sometimes make it difficult to play, there is geese dropping around a lot of the holes. Good course for the cost. Great staff.

The staff was very friendly, the course was in pretty good condition considering the weather lately, and the greens were in great shape and very challenging!! We will be back for sure!!
THe course is well taken care of. Most of the fairways are wide and the greens are huge. We had a wonderful round with no one rushing us and waiting on no one.
