Myth Golf & Banquet - Little Myth Par-3

Decent track and pace of play was acceptable, nice clubhouse.

Different kind of course, lots of wooden bridge paths,

huge moguls, nice greens, not a walker

This course is a bit challenging for me. The carts could use some TLC.

The Little Myth par 3 course was good practice for that short, within 150 yards of the green part of your game. Since it's a par 3 course, you really can't put too much variation on the concept of having to get on the green from the tee box. Most of the holes were very short (120 or less). The longest club I used out of the bag was a 9 iron. There are some interesting holes with either a short lane to make your ball go through, some obstruction with trees, a change in elevation, or a water hazard or large pit you have to try to navigate.

The course was kept up just fine. It's seen its share of use but it was good condition. If you come to a par 3 course thinking you're going to see country club conditions you need to set your expectations a lot lower. They also use this course for foot golf, so there are the large cups on each hole for that, and you may be mixed in with groups playing that instead of golfing (In my experience foot golfers aren't really aware of traditional golf etiquette).

I booked the round on a hot deal 20 minutes before the scheduled tee time. When I went to check in, I was in the computer and everything but the gentleman at the counter seemed confused. He also inquired how much I paid and seemed kind of annoyed over the whole thing. Not at me, but at the circumstances, I guess. He was very patient with me and answered all my questions.

I was sort of speed playing, so I had to play through the same group of people twice (did 18 on the 9 hole course). First guy was a guy teaching two young kids to play. He was very annoyed with me when I came around the second time and was venting about how they "let adults play on the kid course." It's a par 3 course, not mini golf and I paid to play it just the same. The other group was a single guy taking his time on every hole playing approximately 2 dozen balls. He was super chill and very apologetic for getting in his way. That guy was a good guy.

Overall, I recommend this course if you want to work on your "approach" shots. You're probably not going to use anything other than the short irons and the putter, so if you're looking for something a little more challenging, I'd suggest trying the actual main myth course instead.

The Myth is a fun course. It's not a long ballers or a sprayers paradise. You can, and probably will, play every club in the bag. If you are accurate off the tee with your driver there are some holes you can really take advantage of. GolfNow prices for this course are a good value.

I wasn't impressed with the course. I kept thinking that it could be better while I was playing. Tons of old wood bridges that are extremely bumpy and hurt your back. When I looked it up after and saw that it was a Vargo course, everything made sense. I've played Chandler park and rackham and they all have the same feeling of under managed.

I'm a new golfer so it was challenging for me. My husband really liked the course we will definitely golf there again.

I've played this course 15-20 times over the past 3-4 seasons. Pace is normally 4 hours during the week, 4 1/2 hours on the weekends. It is important to call the clubhouse during the week to know if they have any outings scheduled, otherwise you could get stuck behind one and you're looking at a 5+ hour round. Course is well kept, with usual clubhouse amenities, and usually friendly staff. Would recommend for the $15-$30 prices found on golf now. I usually take beginners here because the course is usually less crowded than surrounding courses.

Played here 10 years ago and was extremely disappointed with conditions. I was pleasantly surprised given the vastly improved greens and fairways now. They were top notch. The layout is a bit quirky with doglegs and hazards but a fun challenge. Lots of bumpy cart travel on boardwalks over marshland.

Was a nice course. Not something for the beginner. Would be fun for intermediate it was a toght course with alot of water. Suggested from staff to use a lot of irons. The course needs the golfer with good course management and proficient in irons

It's pretty cool with the wood plank cart paths thru the woods. Been here several times and always enjoy it

The course is quite narrow as it is laid out on a marsh. It is a beautiful location.

The tres need some work as they are uneven.

There were two outings on the course at the same time we were scheduled to play. Course is in rough shape. Back nine was better of the eighteen.

Myth is easily one of my favorite courses that I've experienced that isn't on the high end of costs. Got a deal with Golfnow using the hot deal for $17.00. I was very impressed with the course.

The course is challenging with trees, water, and many other obstacles that can be frustrating. Be sure to bring extra balls! I really enjoyed the challenge and layout of each course. The cart paths between holes are really something else and one of the most different and fun experiences I've had on a golf course.

In addition, there was virtually no waiting on any of the holes, which was a Monday at noon. Really great experience, and suggest that anyone considering trying the Myth definitely make it a place to go!
