17th green. Three tiered with two sections guarded by water. You end up on the wrong third of the green and you may have to putt through some fringe or chip over some rough WITH YOUR BALL ON THE GREEN in order to reach the right tier. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 08/25/2019

Great course
What a beautiful course all around great scenery great time golfing awesome course.
Tough but fair
Demanding course that punishes bad shot, and rewards good one. Course was in great shape, and beautiful views! Almost looked like I had been transported up north
Quick play. Enough time for practicing your game. Challenging games.
Forgettable golf
Not sure why this course has good ratings.. course is in average shape, holes are forgettable, and not very challenging. Pace of play was horrible, especially since they have league during the week. Not recommended for the price.
Awesome first tee
Awesome first tee off an elevated tee sets the stage for a fun and challenging course. Greens are manageable but tough.
Great
Best bang for your buck around here. Great course, pretty well maintained on most holes. Pace of play depends on other golfers in front and behind you. Overall, usually happy with playing there, one of my top choices in the area.
Up North Feeling
Nice layout with a mix of holes taking advantage of the hilly terrain. Greens are in great shape, which I think is one of the most important thing for any course
Beautiful Disaster
Heard of this course for so long. Beautiful course and conditions are great. However the course layout from 3-8 is a death trap. Possibly hitting people on railways that cross over Tee-Green. Wanted to skip those holes but stuck to it. I’m sure that’s where most of the delay comes in. Tee box located right next to greens or in front of them. Just not a comfortable place or feeling. Take that away and it’s great! Greens roll fast and very challenging. Lot of undulation at faster than normal speeds. If you regulation shot is more than 3-4 feet, Many can count on a 3 putt.
Gray conditions and layout
Really great course. Conditions were perfect . Pace of play was good and the staff was nice. Place is in the middle of no where but worth the drive.
One of the greats in Oakland County
The scenery and elevation gives you an up north feel. Great layout. Not super long, however course forces you to hit your targets if you want to score well.
Good course
Excellent course for the money even though I have to drive over 30 miles
Golfers that get it
Going out is the single two foursomes let me play through when the Ranger asked them if it was OK.
A lot of people who play golf could learn from that.
Great conditions. Very slow
Incredibly slow pace of play, well over 5 hours. Course was in great condition considering the amounts of rain the last two weeks
