Sunset view of 13th green. Hardest, longest hole in the golf course. Green is deep, look where the pin is Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 08/25/2019

17th green. Three tiered with two sections guarded by water. You end up on the wrong third of the green and you may have to putt through some fringe or chip over some rough WITH YOUR BALL ON THE GREEN in order to reach the right tier. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 08/25/2019

Left of the 1st green. Tee shot is 40 to 50 feet downhill and approach shot is slightly uphill again. The entire green slopes from back left to front right. Do not go in the left bunker especially with this pin placement. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 08/25/2019

Great golf course, not for 1st time players
Course is always in good condition, you need to evaluate every shot in order to finish with a good score
Devil’s Ridge a challenging tight course
Had a great time playing today, front nine, which we were instructed to play thru 13 to make it closer returning to the clubhouse, offered lots of water, some tight tee boxes and great views! Only minor downside were that a couple of holes cut close to each other and created some OB but the creative layout wasn’t bothersome. Had a great time, will be back for sure.
Great views odd layout
This course was pretty great in terms of views. We had holes that overlooked the trees that you would typically find in northern Michigan. The golf was great, but I was getting lucky a lot. I hit a lot of drives that had they moved much left or right at all I would have been in trouble, so I agree with other comments stating that GPS would be helpful on the cart. The layout is pretty confusing. Signs make it easy to find your way, but there are a lot of holes that I think should be flipped around. With all of the great holes in the middle, it feels like the last four holes are a bit underwhelming. Feels like those holes should be the first four holes to get you warmed up to the course.
Great staff!
From the young man at the golf drop, the pro shop, the starter to the beer cart girl.. very hospitable. Even meet the owner , also a solid guy. Great course go play it!
Sunny Skies!
Is what a beautiful day to play golf. I went as a solo and got hooked up with 3 individuals that I enjoyed playing with very much. Pace was a little slow but that's to be expected on a beautiful day like this. The course was in great condition and of course the 1st hole is beautiful off of the Tee Biz!!
Great Round
Had a great morning round on a great course. Everything about this course was incredible! This was the first time I’ve played here, and I’d recommend this to anyone looking for challenging and beautiful course to play. Pace of play was good, and never had anyone waiting for us, or anyone slowing us down.
Waiver in order to play
By any means this isn't a championship course it's a decent course for the area. I've played almost every course in the area over the past few years and not once was I asked to sign a waiver basically assuming I'm some kind of criminal before I hit my first tee shot. I was then kicked off the course for sneaking a few drinks on the course(which a lot of people do) but I was respectful and didn't argue about their rules. The redheaded cart lady proceeded to be disrespectful after I was considerate and respectful towards her. Asked to search my bag for more drinks like she has any kind of authority then gave me a snarky answer of "the clubhouse is the same way you came from" after asking her what the fastest way to get off the course would be. Place is a joke especially considering the other amount of great courses in the area. It's a shame because I golf here several times a year and that ended because a couple dollars of profit for the clubhouse. Will not return and hope the employees show a little more respect towards their patrons moving forward. Pace of play was horrendous as well.
