Don’t play here on the weekends unless you have 5 or 6 hours for a round. I will only play here during the week or maybe not at all.

Bring bug spray. Course is okay. I wouldn’t pay full price for it. Having a hot deal is a must. I’m sure I’ll play a couple more times this year only because of location for my friends that live in kzoo.

Conditions are hit or miss. Lots of rain the course gets sloppy. Their carts suck bad. So slow. We even changed thinking ours was broke. Nope. Just slow.

It was a fun and challenging course to play. It was a beautiful view all along the course. Well maintained and the play was great. Will be coming back!

I booked as a single, was added with a twosome and another single. Great guys. Had a great time.

The course was in fantastic condition. Considering all of the rain recently I would say it was exceptional. No issue with mosquitoes either so they must have recently treated for them.

The pins were cut in some pretty tough locations but nothing unfair.

We were told we were behind an outing. Our pace was swift on the front side but the back slowed a bit. Had to wait on each shot but nothing excessive.

I always look for HOT DEALS here. Like the course, friendly staff, affordable.

For the money, this is one of the best courses around. Nice rolling terrain, usually in good condition, strategically placed trees, not too many bunkers. I always enjoy playing this course.

This course overall is great, it is a fun and sometimes challenging course.

Lake Doster has the best deals this time of the season. The problem is that Lake Doster is so eager to get business that they simply don’t say no. The pace of play was decent at best but really went downhill on the back 9. I was on hole 14 at the tee box. There was a group of 5 about 150 yards into the hole. There was also a group of 4 on the green. From where I was I could also see holes 15 (par3) and 16 (par 4) There was 2 groups of 4 on the tee box and a group of 4 on the green at 14. There was a group teeing off on 16. At this point another twosome pulled up behind us and added to the conjunction. This was the time my brother and I decided that we need to skip holes instead of waiting 25 mins in between tee offs.

Playable with ups and downs. Good greens. Tee boxes need help. Cart paths need repair but for the price. Happy Deal!!!

I enjoy playing 2-3 times a week. On weekends some tournaments. Weekend golf usually no play unless a good Golf Deal. Weekend rates way to expensive to play golf.

Course was in good condition, arrived early and first tee was empty. Was told we would be on time or late getting off the tee.even though next players hadn't arrived yet. 2hrs50min first nine. No course management.. Left due to pace of play.

Not well maintained, bunkers terrible, not maintained.

Lake Doster used to be a very good course with very good amenities. The course and facilities are showing their age. The course played very slow, about 5 hours. Tees were backed up from start to finish. Stopped at the turn for a snack, the only thing available were hot dogs, and they ran out of them right after our purchase. The carpet in the bar area is dirty and stained and a number of the chairs have holes in the seats. Not sure what they are planning to do with this course but it is in need of major investment.

Great layout. Fairways very nice. Greens in rough shape. Ball washers empty. No paint or towels on ball washers just shreds.

Started on back nine behind 6 threesome league. Front nine was open. Actually asked if we could play back again after brutal nine. Sailed through. Course needs someone who cares. Being as honest and fair as we can. Love to see this layout in the right hands.
