About
Located just three miles south of downtown Portland, Willow Wood Golf Club sprawls across acres of rolling countryside laced with meandering creeks and ribbons of mature woodlands. The naturally hilly terrain lent itself perfectly to a challenging championship course. Golfers will encounter a range of ups and downs but the golf course is a manageable 6,200 yards from the back tees. It's a layout that will keep you on your toes but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper. The course will test your skills, requiring creative shot making throughout. Each hole requires a different strategy and presents risk-reward opportunities, you're guaranteed to use every club in your bag. One of Willow Wood Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-3 eighth. It has a sloped green with bunkers on the left, but a birdie might be a possibility if the wind is on your side.

The hidden 18 you need to play
Willow Wood course is in great shape. The ruff is cut low enough to find your ball, but high and thick enough to cause havac with your shot. Fairways and greens are lush as you would find at a private club.
Only issue was pace of play on the back. A 3 sum was holding up 2 groups behind. We played 3 holes twice and still had to wait.
Quiet course, friendly staff
Booked through Golfnow. Played today and decided to play again tomorrow. Book at the course and it was $6 cheaper to play. Gotta watch the Golfnow prices, I guess. Good little course, quick pace most of the day. Playing it again tomorrow.
Always a good time
Love playing Willow Wood. Staff is great and the course is challenging but fun while you are making your way through each hole. Always a good time playing here
Beautiful day for golf
easy yet challenging track , recommed going if you never played . Will be back in the future.
The course is in great shape, greens are fast and firm, fairways are mown and weed free, roughs are 2- 2.5" and recent weed control, bunkers could use some work; heavy sand and gravel. Enjoyable course layout, generous width targets, walked 18 had to carry no pull carts, and half mile gravel drive to clubhouse.
Beautiful Course
This course is excellent, great greens, and challenging approach shots. I would suggest however that flags are not removed from the holes when it’s tee time for grounds work.
Nice course
The course was great. Greens in very good shape for being this late in the year. Fairways in great condition. Play most of my golf in the Chicago suburbs West of the city and they are nice but not as nice as this course and I will golf here when I'm in the area
