Willow Wood Golf Club

About
Located just three miles south of downtown Portland, Willow Wood Golf Club sprawls across acres of rolling countryside laced with meandering creeks and ribbons of mature woodlands. The naturally hilly terrain lent itself perfectly to a challenging championship course. Golfers will encounter a range of ups and downs but the golf course is a manageable 6,200 yards from the back tees. It's a layout that will keep you on your toes but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper. The course will test your skills, requiring creative shot making throughout. Each hole requires a different strategy and presents risk-reward opportunities, you're guaranteed to use every club in your bag. One of Willow Wood Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-3 eighth. It has a sloped green with bunkers on the left, but a birdie might be a possibility if the wind is on your side.

Good Value
This course was nice for the money. It was nothing really special but for $20 it was hard to beat. Course was in rough shape is some spots, but this spring brought a lot of rain.
Awesome course!!!
Visiting from Texas. These were some of the best greens I’ve played on. Course was in great shape and pace of play was awesome. Two thumbs up!!
Nice course
I enjoy playing Willow Wood, fairways are nicely groomed and greens run true.
Too bad there’s been so much rain lately coz the course would be in really good shape
Course was in fine shape even with all the rain lately.the greens were extremely good
Loved the course
Great course for the money. Well maintained. Very fun but challenging. Will play again!
off-radar gem
had an extremely fun round--- first time playing here and i wish id heard of willow wood sooner (i live about 45 miles away)--- awesome layout and greens that will mess with your head--- many holes arent very long but bunkers and woods will make you think twice about solely playing bomb and gouge--- left a dozen in the woods so any you find with a black sharpie line on the side belong to me haha--- friendly staff--- only downside was stopping in the clubhouse to grab a snack at the turn and no one was at the counter--- we wont hesitate to return!
Great Course
This is a great course just outside of Portland It was in great condition.
It has a great layout. It is challenging, especially from the blue tees. We can’t wait to play it again.
Course needs work
The workers and customers were friendly. The layout of the course was nice. The greens were shaved too short and scarred, and the bunkers lacked sand. That is why we thought it only deserved 3 stars.
Good value
Found a hot deal for $30 for 18 and cart on a Saturday morning. Good value. Course was in good condition, greens rolled nice and true. Wasn’t overly busy. Staff was nice and helpful.
