WestWynd Golf Course
About
Westwynd Golf Course in Rochester Hills is part of the Wyndgate Country Club, which is one of the most upscale private clubs in southeastern Michigan. The course itself is semi-private, it is open for public play. The championship course lives up to its reputation, boasting country club conditions and a beautifully maintained landscape. The layout features generous rolling fairways and undulating greens flanked with massive bunkers. The elevation changes throughout the golf course are subtle but tricky, making the putting surfaces one of the most challenging elements of the round. The contours and slopes allow for devious pin placements, which is especially true on the par 3s. Hitting the right portion of the green is essential to scoring well, as is managing the difficult and lengthy par 5s. The golf course is made even more challenging with mature trees and water hazards coming into play often.

tons of elavation changes.
Great layout and many good risk reward holes. You better be a single digit handicapper to play from the championship tee's. This course seems to have a few links style holes blended in nicely with some up north through the woods type holes. Very private feeling on most holes. Just keep in mind that the few homes there are, don't mistake them for being the club house.
Good but hole no.1~9 has construction. but price is same
good and conditon is good.
I must play again. good.
Could be a great course to play.....
Cool layout, but the EXTREMELY poor condition of the greens, tee boxes, bunkers and fairways make it a course to "pass" on.
Lots of elevation changes
Is a course that you must play at least once. Greens have never been great as they were burnt up years ago and gave never been the same, Greens can be extremely hills and a little bumpy. Must take a cart due to the distance in between tees. Features 5 par 5's and 5 par 3's. Course is on a fairly upscale portion of land with large houses all around. The elevation changes and views are why you have to play here once.
Great Value
My son-in-law is visiting from Australia and we found an outstanding price. This course is very challenging, but very fair. The topography and landscaping venues are terrific. Great nature viewing as well as golfing.
