decent course - that's it
course is fine and is in good condition. carts are terrible and have been for years. clubhouse is just a empty pole barn with old carpeting. limited food and beverage. haven't seen a beverage cart all season. toilet in men's room has bucket hanging on it to collect water from dripping pipe. WAYYYYY overpriced at $60 per 18. price goes up every season but the only thing that changes is that the carts get worse.
Nice course terrible pace of play
the pace of play was 5 hours for 18 we finished 12 holes after 3 hours and left this is ridiculous people need to suck fast it doesn’t matter if you’re bad just don’t be selfish to others. People have stuff to do.
Great Course!
Blackheath is our favorite course to play. The condition of the greens is fantastic, plus your ball won't be stuck behind a tree withe the open layout. Highly recommend!
Almost there!
The course is challenging and fun to play, with great, speedy greens. NO ALCOHOL!!!! I repeat, NO ALCOHOL. Not sure why, but that limits the money to the course and maintenance. Range is decent. Didn’t see a practice bunker, which would be good since there are some wicked bunkahs! Play and just have fun, but BYOB.
Not worth the hype
Upon arriving, was disappointed to see a run down "clubhouse" only after we had to switch carts because the first one was so best up it didn't even have a clip for the scorecard. Once to
The first tee it looked like things were getting better. Course was in good shape and the pace of at as very good. Until we got to the 6th or 7th hole. Then we came to a complete hault. After making the turn, we ended up with 5 groups on the 11th hole. I called the clubhouse to ask for assistance and they said the ranger would be right out. 45 minutes later we finally finished the 11th but never saw the ranger. Two later we saw multiple groups on one green and backups on many tee boxes. Our other cart called the clubhouse and only then did we see a ranger drive by.
The manager did come out to talk to us and try and explain what he thought was going on but honestly at that point we were simply looking to get done and get out of there.
Bottom line, the course was in good shape, but not worth the price for the poor manangent is the golfers on the horrible facilities.
Nice Course !!
Course was in good shape. The T boxes were in poor condition but the real problem was waiting 5 to 10 minutes on every hole one time in front of us we saw 6 people all playing the same hole.. We stopped playing after 9 because of pace of play. We asked for a rain check for the other 9 they said they don’t give them for that reason no rain checks!! Hmmm
Great Course Conditions
Great condition. But, play is always 5 hours or more. Rangers need to get involved in keeping up pace of play. 60 dollars for the weekend is very reasonable for greens fees. We have been playing here for years and years and enjoy the course.
Close it already
I paid for my tee time as scheduled then I got a charge today from golf saying I did not show. These guys a terrible operation lost their liquor license terrible golf carts and charge $7 for a drink in the club house.
As they stated they did me a favor by only charging me for 1 golfer as one of my guys didn’t make it. Don’t waste your time
I can’t believe I even went there.
Play rattle run or twin lakes way better service and value
