Challenging course
I really like the challenge this course offers. Wide open in places. Greens are the biggest defense on this course. Fairways and Greens were in good shape. Some standing water from the rain. Pace of play less then 3 hours
Beautiful greens
Had a great time! Course is in great shape. They don’t have a liquor license though fyi
Nice round of golf
Players a round for first time here. Coarse was nice greens were nice the only down side but not much of one is for a Round on a Sunday there was no cart girl and club house was not what you expected when you see the coarse. Sort of cold and dingy and stuff piled up. But it’s still worth playing on e
Good course, links style. Very forgiving. Pace of play is very slow though.
Two concerns for other players -
1. They will not give a raincheck under any circumstances. So folks booking this course need to be careful.
2. They have lost their liquor license. So not beer on the course.
3.5 hours for 9 holes
This course is great if you have 7 hours to finish 18 holes. Took us 3.5 hours to finish 9 due to the lack of tee time management - we were stuck behind a group of 8 teenagers all teeing off together which they were stuck behind more 8 somes. Left after 9 holes didn’t even finish 18. Carts were dead like our golfing spirits that round - rancid and horrid
Nice experience
greens and fairways were in very nice condition. Good layout that made it challenging. Greens were rather undulating but that was part of the challenge.
Early in season
Still early in the season so not best conditions, but will get better. Good layout some blind shots into green which keeps you on your toes. Played course after storm and large amount of rain the day before. Drainage was good.
Birthday Round
No better way to spend my birthday. Course was not in bad shape. Greens were slow and bunkers were not ready for play. Like the layout, greens are always a challenge
Fun Inland Links Track
Really cool links style track. Short cut heather, so it’s not too hard to find your ball during fall golf. First tee time of the day, finished in about 3:30. Pretty bare bones in terms of clubhouse offerings, but it’s the end of the season so I understand. Guy on staff was nice. Will play again if I can.
