Nice course
Nice course except for the fact that they had aerated the greens so putting was terrible.
Must play
Course is good shape all the way around, beautiful scenery, must stop at the club house after the game and sit at the patio.
Awesome course
This was my first time playing this course. It lived up to the hype of my coworkers. Ended up playing with 3 members of the club. They have played there over 20 years.
Very enjoyable course and clubhouse
People are very friendly. Course was in pretty good condition. A couple of tees could use some leveling. Greens were tricky! No sand. There is water hazards. Lunch was good and costs good. A fun 18 holes.
Great course with up-north Michigan atmoshere!
Awesome course to play! Hard to believe when you finish that there is not a sand trap on the course, but the course does not need them. The rough around the greens can be hazardous enough! Love golfing this course!
Nice course but slow greens
Nice conditions and layout but slow greens. No senior tees so short hitters need to consider moving up a set on Par 5s.
Very nice course
This is a very nice hilly course, the staff was very nice and we had a great round of golf. I will definitely come back again.
Gem in the Rough
I was pleasantly surprised to find a hilly, rolling golf course in Lower Michigan. There were no traps but the contour of the land made the course fairly difficult. The course is a perfect match for a "bogey Golfer". The golf course was in perfect condition.
Rock Hard
The fairways and rough were rock hard and it made approach shots extremely difficult on some holes. The greens rolled very well and the staff was fabulous. The pace of play was also very good, we finished our round in 3:30. If it wasn't for the rock hard surfaces I would have been much happier with my experience, however it was still a very nice course for the price we payed.
Golf Course
Fantastic as always, The view is alone worth the money. Greens could use some attention, very slow
Beautiful Course
My buddy and I enjoyed our first time playing at this course. Very beautiful, well kept course. Next time I am in town I will certainly look to play here again.
Good Time
Good Experience - On Line Pricing Was Great
Greens were cut too long, resulting in slow putts that don't track true.
Father Son golf
Took my 9 year old. The weather was chilly and misty. The wonderful girl working the place offered a jacket to my son! That was nice. We enjoyed a moist day. My 9 year old shot a legitimate 64 on the front nine. Course was great. Greens were very smooth! My son said the people there were very nice and he thinks the forest surround parts of the course are beautiful.
Nice boonie course to visit
The course is way out in the boonies but once you get there it has a nice, up north feel. Challenging on some holes, others provide side by side fairways for errant tee shots. Used the driver a lot..lots of straight holes. Staff was super friendly and course was in good condition although the greens themselves were a bit brown for this time of year.
Hidden Gem
This course is great. Not the most challenging because fairways are wide open and there are only a few water hazards but a lot of holes had bunkers in play. The greens were in great condition and the best part! We didn't have to wait around for other golfers! I would go here if you are a golfer looking to get in a round in under 4 hours and on a course that challenges you somewhat.
heather hills great experience!
Challenging course with up north feel, but close enough for the next place to golf. Some greens were frost damaged but overall they were firm and quick, only knock was when a grounds crew took out aball in the rough on the second from last.hole, rattling my partners play! Will come back one of my favorites & not a single trap on the course!
the coarse is very challenging
the weather was drizzle on and off but cleared up.a pretty tough . some of the greens needed work
Beware
Some of the greens are damaged due to the tough winter. When those greens recover it will once again me a must play!!
