Rustic Glen Golf Course
About
Located just minutes from Ann Arbor, Rustic Glen Golf Club sits at the edge of the Irish Hills area. The rolling topography provides the
ideal terrain for a round of golf. Originally opened in 1968 as a nine-hole course, it was completely redesigned and expanded to 18 holes in 1999. The layout measures to 6,469 yards from the tips. It's not particularly long but there are some holes that are drivable. There are also plenty of opportunities to work on your short game. Strategically placed bunkers frame the fast greens and the gently rolling hills guarantee that you 'll come across some uneven lies, as well as some great views. The scenic view from sixth tee stretches across the Saline Valley. Don't get too distracted by the view on this hole though; this long par 5 demands your attention.

Out of the Way but Worth It!
For late April, the greens and fairways were remarkable. The course has some fun challenges without being too difficult for novice golfers. Very friendly staff would definitely will come golf again soon!
Not Bad - but NOT a Steal
I booked this as a "Hot Deal" and was paired up with a threesome. The chedck-in staff member was very nice and efficient and the three players were very sociable and we moved along pretty well, considering we were playing mid-day on a weekend and the course was pretty solidly booked. I thought that the layout wasn't anything special, with the exception of a couple of the holes on the back 9 (blind approaches and hidden water). The course was VERY wet and the greens had not been mowed, nor had the cups been moved for several days. Given the amount of play which this course gets, I found the static pin placements to be a real problem, since the ball marks and foot traffic were concentrated in only one area of each green over several days. It made putting (always difficult early in the season) an unwanted adventure.
Well maintained golf course
This is a well maintained golf course with some challenging holes . It has a good layout with elevations changes and rolling hills. Very playable and fun course. Green and fairways are in great shape. Some greens are challenging and hard to get up and down if you miss on wrong side. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely play here aging soon. Thanks
Scramble
Played the course for the first time and the course was great and in awesome condition, but when was coming up to the 15th hole they had 6 scramble tournament groups start in front of us and it completely slowed us down to a stand still, I wish there was communication to let us know ahead of time when checking in felt that was super unprofessional.
Nice gem
I really enjoyed this course. The hills add a tougher aspect to easier-looking holes. There are a good number of blind approach shots to the greens and elevated tee boxes, which I enjoy. The greens are pure, with tons of slope in them. The course has everything you might want, from practice greens and driving range to the pub/grill after your round. I didn’t grab food, but it smelled good coming off the grill. The layout is slightly confusing; it could use more dirt paths, but that’s not a big deal. Conditions were better than some 50–60$ rounds I’ve played in the past, definitely worth the 38$. Most holes are wider than your average course, so it helps out golfers like me, who slice the ball on 60% of drives. I only lost 4, which is a rarity for me; on average, I lose 8–10 rounds (I'm not good by any means lol ). Overall, I’d rate the course 4.6/5 stars.
First Time
I really liked the course, great for a mid handicap plenty of opportunities to score. Pace of play was fine until we caught up to the group of 7, then it slowed down quite a bit. Groups behind us were getting pretty upset. I will go back for sure.
