Course itself is good
Decent track. Some tee boxes, especially 9, were littered with driver head marks from frustrated kids. I think the high school team practices here as there was a group of 8-9 of them suddenly in front of us at the turn (I noticed some single walking kids a few holes ahead of us on the front, but I guess they wanted to reconvene and talk about their front 9?). With no rangers you can do whatever you want really including not being considerate of others, so don’t go when the kids are on the course. Otherwise, it’s a good track for the price. Props to maintenance for putting up with some disrespectful treatment of the course
First Time at Hudson Mills. Excellent Metropark course
Had a great first experience at Hudson Mills over the weekend. Course was in absolutely fantastic shape, greens rolled fast and true, and staff was very friendly. Pace of play was slow - not a ranger in site for the whole round. In spite of that course was well worth it especially with how good of condition the course was in. Will definitely be back
Great course
Seemed to be wide open but yet challenging. We will return. Enjoyed it very much.
Slow
There was a group of six in front of me when I was playing as a single and they would not let me pass. Very slow.
Fast Greens
Nice straight forward layout. Greens are fast and FUN!!!
Great value
Solid public track that plays relatively easy. No blind shots to the green and not a lot of water. Staff needs to remind all golfers to repair their ball marks. Despite this, greens are in great shape and fast.
Average course
The front nine was very mediocre, felt cheap. The back nine tho was beautiful.
