Michigan trip
Very sad. This was at one time a fantastic course. Now it is in terrible shape. Greens were good, fairways ok but the rest of the course needs a lot of work. Very tight difficult track.
Save your money
The management/owners of this club do not care about the golf "experience"... had open tee times from 4 to 6 which they had no business offering with 2 leagues out on each 9 holes ( front and back) 10 to 15 minutes on each tee for the ladies league even though there was nobody in the field. Waited that amount of time for a 100 yard drive tops. Horrible experience. I will NEVER waste my money here again. The cart girl skipped us completely on a 90 degree day. Although the cart girl had a regular cart consisting of a store bought cooler hanging off the back. Very unprofessional for a golf course in a neighborhood of 800k or more houses. What a joke. The club house smelled like someone dumped a 3 year old porta potty on the floor.
Good value for accurate golfers
Not my first time playing this course and won’t be my last. For the value, I would say it’s a good course. Between on-site amenities, staff friendliness and Green conditions.
Things that could use some help are as follows: cart paths, a mutual understanding of individuals that bought homes on a golf course course, and the things that are involved in that, and fairway maintenance could’ve also been better. I do understand I went on a Tuesday evening though so I wasn’t expecting perfection.
Greatly Improved
Current management has restored the course to what is was previously. In great condition. Thank you.
Ok
Very friendly staff...went on a holiday weekend ao maybe the mowing wasn't done but the Tee boxes were extremely long. Greens slow too.
Couple really nice hokes and then the polar opposite...4/5 10
The forward tees are 5000, the white tees are 5000. They need to set up a blended tee in the 5500 range. Very hilly, in great shape.
Overall a fun course
The greens were in very good condition. It’s unusual to find a course with few ball marks on the green these days and almost all the greens were in great shape.
Hole 10 is very narrow at the dog leg and two homes at the corner have fences and signs and a camera asking to stay out…it’s very obvious the course needs a correction of some sort.
The cart paths were terrible.
The course was in good shape for an early spring round
Tight and hilly
This course is recovering from years of neglect. Greens and fairways almost fully recovered. Cart paths still horrible. If you can’t hit straight, bring lots of balls. Very tight, sloping fairways, and difficult greens. Prices need to drop to fill lots of open T-times on sunny, warm weekend days.
Needs attention
Greens are well-cared for and in great shape, but fairways, rough grass, and trees require long-overdue cutting, repair, and maintenance. Sand traps also need significant attention.
Rough
This course is in very rough shape. Dead grass on the fairways and plenty of divots on the greens . The trash cans were overflowing, and the cart return was full. A good indication of lack of effort and care. The first 10 holes are lined with housing, and I did not know that Michigan had so many hills. This course is definitely a one and done.
Nice Place
Pleasantly surprised by the very up north feel and look of the course. Greens were in good shape with respect to the Pinckney rednecks that are too lazy to repair ball marks. What made it challenging were some of the holes with hills and uneven lies relative to your ball and feet location. To score well you really need to be able to come off the tee well. In my opinion.
I did have a flat tire on my cart and had to change it after 9, and the guy woking the pro shop needs a better attitude. Tee time was 11am Saturday Aug. 30 if anyone wants to figure out what his problem was that day.
