About
Timber Trace Golf Club sprawls across the rolling countryside that surrounds Lake Wallaby in lower Michigan. The location seems rather remote, giving the course an isolated feel, but the round is well worth the trip. The layout is routed through tall pines and the fairways effortlessly flow across the gently rolling hills. The wooded terrain is one of the course's major draws. Golfers from as far as the metro Detroit area come to enjoy this scenic round. The layout has an interesting mix of holes that offer plenty of variety. There are some tricky spots but you won't come across any carries over wetlands or ponds. Golfers will face long and challenging back-to-back par 5s starting with the 15th. This duo has the potential to ruin your score.

Golfer Reviews
A great course!
I played here for the first time last month and wanted to play it again!
It’s in fantastic condition from the tees, bunkers fairways and challenging greens. I highly recommend to anyone who is within an hours drive as it is certainly well worth it….
I’ll be back soon!
Michigan trip
Very nice Golf course. Awesome layout. Very playable. Nice scenery. Staff was great. Highly recommend playing this track.
Great Course
Good tee boxes, good fairways, good greens, and great layout.
Always like playing this course
Course was in good shape. Busy but we played 18 in 4 hours. Carts are great.
Much Improved
The owners are doing a really good job out here. Course was in really good shape for early season. Traps are well maintained. Carts have GPS. Pace of play was a little slow; but it was one of the first really warm Sunday’s we have had early this year, so course was busy. Very good value at the discounted GolfNow rate!
Timber Trace
For being late in the season, the course was in great condition. The best conditioned public course I've played all year. Also, on the first tee we had to wait until the group ahead of us reach the first green. This kept the course from feeling crowded and the place of play not rushed.
Excellent Course
Friendly staff reasonably priced great greens well worth the price
