Glacier Club

If you don't mind a course with plentiful homes surrounding almost all holes this is for you. Looking for a woodsy, bird chirping course, again not for you.

Baring the above, it is a fun course in better than average condition, The pace of play is usually pretty good here but the last time I played it, got behind 2 women that had to analyze each shot just to eventually hit it 10 yards,

Had to stop after 9 as lost any rythen I had by then.

Overall, of all the GN course offerings in Oakland, Macomb, and Washington Township I would have to give this a very high rating.

Glacier Club is like playing an up north course without the 3 hour drive - hilly, lush, and unique hole layouts. The course is easy to get to, the staff is friendly, and the grounds are beautifully well manicured. It is a little tight in spots with the houses being so close to the course, so beware the OB lines along several cart paths. Have fun and shoot straight!

Unfortunately we played on a Saturday and there was a outing going on. It took us well over five hours to play 18. Course was in good shape, and the greens are huge!

the course never informed us that we would be playing behind a old timers league,,,it took us 5 and half hours to play,,the ranger said thats what you get if you play behind a league,,,totally unexpected

I am an amateur tournament player and I feel Glaciers is the best players course in Macomb County. I’ve never seen it so plush. Yes, the greens could have been Mowed better but it did rain just yesterday so I’ll give them a pass. Look forward to returning. The two starters I have come in contact with are excellent. Tim and Mike. A real plus. Get your round off to a good start!

Very nice course but the pace of play was a issue for me. This course is for groups of 3 or 4. I played solo and was stuck behind several groups of 4. If I didn’t leave early to be somewhere would’ve taken me 5+ hours to finish.

They put us behind a outing! 6 hrs and we never finished. I would have thought they would have told us no golf today or we needed to wait a hour before tee off, but they had us and 6 other groups waiting at every tee box

not quite The Orchards but nice course nonetheless.. was behind a league that plays on Tues that were slow, we were waiting each hole.. I’ve played here multiple times and seems to be decent pace of play otherwise..

Green and tee boxes were in awful shape - disappointing for a nicer course and the cost
