Terrible Course Layout and no ranger.
Almost got hit three times in the first 5 holes. The holes just go back and forth for the most part and a bunch of hacks out here slicing it into the wrong fairway and not telling fore. Multiple tee boxes are under 15 yard from the green without fences for protection. Pace of play was terrible. 3 hours to play 9 holes, didn’t bother playing the back nine and left without a refund. Overall, it just felt very chaotic.
Long holes with 0 creativity
Not a bad course just not an outstanding good course. 450 yards with a dinky green is most every hole. No bunkers in play. Run of the mill well maintained. I’d pay $35 to play here. Pace of play was very good. Starter was a bit disorganized though.

Beautiful Coarse with Challenging Greens
Very well maintained golf course with very accommodating staff. Definitely worth the money and revisiting. I almost forgot to mention....the burgers were fantastic!

Poor on-course staff spoils a decent course.
Left a four star review last week and played here again today. My main feelings are still the same: it's an enjoyable, challenging course that is perhaps a touch overpriced at $50.
Bumping down to three due to my experience today. Multiple times someone working on the course darted across the fairway when we were on the tee, God awful awareness/respect for the golfers. There was one guy in particular (bigger guy with a plaid/checked shirt) watering the greens who was terrible. We ran into him at least 4-5 times during the round and he wouldn't even get off the green as we approached (a couple times were par 3s). Shame this guy is so clueless, there are a few good guys working out here including one who specifically will chat and spot your shot if you're on his hole.
Further to the above, why are you (the management) still watering the course at 10:45am?! I expect to run into grounds crew a little bit when we're one of the first tee times of the day. It really shouldn't happen by the back nine at all.
I'd still play and recommend the course, but if you want me to pay $50 for a Friday morning round at least get the grounds crew out there earlier and train them to have some awareness out there.

You can see this was a top shelf facility at one point. Still decent and well worth playing. Two sets of tee’s gold n silver. Ladies play from the silver, and it’s pretty long. Played the gold’s. 4 par 4’s well over 420. Challenging layout that won’t disappoint. Drove by it hundreds of times. The par four that runs along the lake is a great hole. Two thumbs up.

Give it a try
This is an old country club now semi-private. Very walkable old-style layout. While 6,251 yds. might seem a little short, the entre course is about a foot or so above the local water table and don't expcct much, if any, run out on your dirves or other shots. The greens are very small, too, but moderately fast and true, which adds a lot to the challenge. Lots and lots of water or marsh in play, putting a further premium on accuracy. Fairways were very nice, and the rough punitive, but fair, and not too high to hide your golf ball. Pace of play for a Saturday 10:53 a.m. tee-off was excellent, 4:15 . Cart girl very attentive out on the course on a hot and sunny day. Some great views of the lake and boaters passing by.

Not the best for the money
The course was in ok condition, it’s a fine course to play just not for $55 before noon or $50 after.

Enjoyable time.
Lots of water, tight layout but usually recoverable unless you went swimming. Challenging course but if you manage your shots you should be fine.
Clubhouse staff seemed friendly, starter was kinda gruff.
Started off in a foursome (paired by the course, only two of us). That lasted half of the first hole because one of the other players got really mad that we drove up to the front tees after he teed off and his wife was last up. Apparently he wanted to hit another, but gave no indication of that, and I hit two myself so it wasn't like we were rushing him. He was also in the middle of the fairway...god knows but it was super awkward. About the fifth hole, we caught up to the threesome in front of us and they allowed us through. From there, my Dad and I didn't see anyone the rest of the round so the pace was generally good.
Course seemed unnaturally wet, and based on other reviews this is not uncommon. I live 15-20 minutes east and didn't think we got any rain the previous night, I suppose they could have but most likely they just overwater here.
All told, I enjoyed the course and would play it again. $50 for 18 on a Friday morning seemed a tad steep, but not gouging by any means.

No way is this course worth the money. Not well kept, and pace of play was the worst I have ever seen. Should not be rated the same as some of these courses that are actually nice. Will not go back.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. We hope you give us another try in the near future.
Solid round
Well kept course. Clean. Was 2 threesome groups that formed to golf all together in front of us which slowed play. But overall good day
