Whispering Pines Golf Club

I live in Monticello and love this course. Mark has made many improvements since he became owner. I love the layout and especially the back 9 which has 3 par 5's and 3 par 3's. I consider it a diamond in the rough, well worth playin. Marc Stanslaski

I have played this course throughout the summer and it has been in excellent shape throughout the extreme drought. Staff is friendly and professional, great course, great value. Hidden gem!

I had higher expectations after reading previous reviews We drove an hour from the cities with a great rate we found on Teeoff. We all thought the whole course was extremely dry which resulted to fast greens and very hard bumpy fairways. So my leaves all around made it difficult to spot our balls. The score card and hole markers rarely matched the GPS on the cart for distance. No beverage cart on Sunday due to lack of staff. Pace was good. There was a friendly ranger. Friendly staff as well.

I haveplayed this course many times over the years and it has gone through some challenges over the years, but the current management is spending ton of money to enhance this course. The greens are very good, many of them replaced in the past 2 years....even in the dry conditions this summer, things have been paintained.

New carts, asphalt paths in certain areas replaced, yardage pmarkers all new, outdoor features around the clubhouse are nice. Over-all thi course has moved a level or two higher with all they have done in the past 2 years.

Enjoy....it's fun course.

Very nice course, I specifically like the mature trees and change in elevation. Very well kept. When in Annandale and not on the lake, this is where I play golf. Great food, pro shop and very knowledgeable staff.

The staff are friendly and willing to go over and above. The owner is always there and helping make sure everyone is taken care of!

The owner general manager said he couldn’t see my on line app reservation/payment for my gollf tee time, on June 26, 2021, and He scanned my credit card again at the pro shop, and then charged 92.00 extra for general merchandise!

The way it has been handled is disappointing!

Still working on a reversal of my 92.34 overcharge!

Course is in excellent shape with improvements always being added. Won’t find a better course for the money!
