Pure course
Not too far from the cities. Great course regardless of price. Greens roll true. Played for the first time last weekend and went back again this weekend. Would recommend for all skill levels as a 15 handicapper myself.
Huge upgrades in progress!!!
This course has gone from 0 to 90 since the new owners took over a few years ago. Mark has and still is improving the grounds for a great day of golf for all ages and playing levels. The latest improvement is cart path restoration with new tar surfaces. Tom the grounds superintendent has performed miracles with the tee boxes, fairways and especially the greens. Every course has something to improve on, and it takes dedication and commitment. The Dvoraks have definetely pumped allot of revenue back into this course. Seeing is believing, so get out there and have fun.....
Did I mention poor layout? Can you give negative points?!
Very poor layout... Also, other than Par3’s, I think every tee shot is blind. There are even several blind approach shots lol... the conditions, were great, the value seems fine, but I can’t enjoy this course unless I become familiar w/it... I guess if it wasn’t so far a drive, it might be worth getting familiar with...
Staff was very kool... helpful when I called, and when we got there... my brothers cart GPS didn’t seem to work so the young man brought him a different one......
Always fun
This is a course out in the middle of nowhere. However the staff is great the course is fun and challenging but hey don’t tell anyone. Annandale is great for golf and whispering pines is fun and it’s patrons are as well. The couple of times I have been paired up with people I have had a great time. Just discovered this course this summer and I will continue to support and consider this one of my home courses.
Great course;tricky to get to
We had a wonderful day of golf once we got there! Our GPS did not predict a road closure, so we had to back track. The course was definately worth it. Good mix of holes, some elevated tees. Pace was great..staff very friendly. Will definately be back.
Fun layout
very fun layout with up and down shots. Little bends left and right with fair bounces. Hard to see the differences between fairway and rough but tree lined. Shorter holes with smallish greens
Great weather, great course conditions.
Everything was great about our round except for the pace of play for the first 6 or 7 holes. There should have been some marshals out there to help out the group ahead of us, or to split up that group (it was a group of 5).
Fun course, great layout
Played 7/19/20. Great layout, some issues with course courtesy. A few golfers in front of us played several balls on the same hole, and the maintenance workers didn't seem to know what to work on or where. While we still had a good time, it was sometimes difficult to concentrate on our game with so much going on in front of us. Still completed the round in four hours.
