Great course
This course has gotten consistently better year after year. Owner has really done a great job updating the course and the clubhouse. Pace of play for a busy holiday was great, course is in great condition.
My home course for a reason...
Whispering pines golf club is a great course for any type of player. I like to call it my home course. I do play it a lot because... The price is right, the course is fun to play, and the staff is always a blast to be around. The beverages are always cold and when ya grab a glizzy at the turn, it's always a great thing. Golf carts have a full GPS to help you with almost anything you could ask for. Playing this course is always enjoyable. So grab your clubs and 3 more player's and I'll see you out there...if not #tellemtbonesentya
Friendly people, decent little test of golf
Well, taken care of. Staff is awesome. The course dog and cat are just the cherry on top of this cute little venue.
Fine day of golf
Welcoming person when we arrived. We were able to start early . The course was in excellent condition. We did not have to wait and no one pressured us through our round.
Very well kept track
Greens are in fantastic condition for the time of the year!
Most of the leaves were cleared off the fairways, even for a very windy day. Had a very nice chat with the owner afterward while we enjoyed a couple cold beers.
A little out of the way, but worth the trip
The course was well-maintained, the staff very friendly, and the equipment was in great shape.
There are some challenging holes, which we enjoyed. There are also some pretty steep greens and no shortage of water/sand hazards.
The benefit to the 45+ min drive from parts of the Twin Cities is that the course isn't quite as busy as others would be on the weekend, so the pace of play was optimal.
Fall Golf
18 hole of golf in well under 3 hours, sign me up. I had the course mostly to myself, only a couple cars in the lot when I arrived. Checked in and away I went on a cool and breezy round. Typical fall golf with some leaves hiding golf balls and firm fairways and greens. Friendly staff, great rates and brand new carts with GPS and entertainment. This is one of a couple courses 45-60 minutes west of the Metro on my rotation.
