This is a fun, forgiving course
Not too hard, not too easy, course is always in great shape. Love the greens. You get to play every club in your bag, not just driver>wedge... nice par3’s, some long par4’s, forgiving pr5’s... The driving range gets a little close for comfort on 8..
Pebble’s staff is truly nice & helpful, they made it really easy for my neighbor to join us 11th hour.. they let me demo a new 5wood for the round... and the starter keeps things going smooth, we haven’t been backed up even once this year. And they have nice new carts w/gps & load them w/tees for u:)
Championship track!
I’ve played this course for 15 years. I have avoided it the past few years due to price. I played here on a hot deal. The course conditions are amazing! The fairways are plush and the greens roll smooth. The rough is just long enough to penalize for missing. Bravo to the staff at Pebble Creek. This championship track won’t disappoint!
Excellent condition
Played on a hot and windy day in June. The course is in excellent condition with greens rilling fast and true. The bunkers were also some of the better bunkers I have played this year and the carts also have rakes includes. The carts were newer and also have built in GPS. Will be back hopefully on a day with better weather.
Great value, great layout
Great course worth the drive from the cities. Not much elevation, but plenty of tree-lined fairways to keep you in line. Couple holes with a lot of character. Greens rolled very true. Would come back
Fast, smooth greens
The greens are fast, smooth and true. My only complaint was the rough was way too high.. The US Open would have been jealous of this rough.
Nice course, very good condition. Greens are challenging.
The course is fun. It was in good condition. Nice driving range. GPS on carts. Compared to other comparable courses in the area, they are easily $20 overpriced for 18 w/cart. At discount price it is a must play course. At full price i wouldn't go back. I hadn't played it in 10 years because of price, and i only live 20 minutes away.
Not worth the money
Nice course, well maintained, nice greens. NOT WORTH THE MONEY! You can go 10 miles away and get the same conditions for almost half the price.
Nice course, worth the trip...
While it is a drive, we thought the course was in great shape and the pace made it worth the trip.
Very enjoyable day.
Nice Municipal Course
Pebble Creek Golf Club is a typical small town Minnesota municipal golf course. The course is not very long, or very challenging. Except for water on a few holes and bunkers guarding the greens there is very little to be concerned about off the tee or on your approach shots. Tree coverage is light, although trees set well back from the fairway do help to frame the holes and maintain separation from adjacent fairways. The rough isn't very high, so losing a ball when you stray from the fairway is not very likely. Compared to other courses in the area, Pebble Creek is just not very memorable. That's not to say it's a bad course. The fairways are very well maintained and smooth, and mostly flat, reflecting the surrounding terrain. Elevation changes are minimal, and only on the par 3 6th hole on the White nine will you have to adjust your club selection due to an elevated tee. (The Championship Course at Pebble Creek consists of two nines, White and Red. There is also a third par 36 nine, the Local). The greens are generously sized, with very gentle slopes. No roller coaster putts here. They are very well maintained, smooth and comfortably fast. Your downhill putts will not roll off the green. Other than the aforementioned White 6th, which is all carry over water, two outstanding holes are the 1st and 5th on the Red nine. The 1st is 385 yards from the blue (middle) tees and requires a forced carry over a pond to reach the green. The 500 yard 5th is a dogleg left that curls tightly around a large pond. Long hitters that want to take on the water to cut the corner may be deterred by a large willow on the edge of the pond. Your approach shot to the green should favor the left, because the water extends all the way to the right of the green. Playing Pebble Creek is a pleasant experience, but the course is not really a “destination” type of course to which one would travel any appreciable distance.
