course look as if it was layed out by soom one whom had never golfed. first 9 all blind shots did not see a green from tee until a par 3 no definition fairway to rough

The way the course is set up it is conducive to people hitting in to you - we had three near misses and not once did we hear a FORE! I think a lot of hackers play this course that don't understand the etiquette of golf or have lot's of money to pay the medical bills of the people they hit.

The course overall was in good shape. A number of the greens had some big patches of winter kill. Very friendly staff.

Tons of blind shots. No GPS in carts. If it's your first time playing you'll likely be wondering on many shots where to hit the ball to. Having a range finder or personal GPS is extremely helpful at this course. If you can play 18 with a cart for around $20, its worth it. No cart girl selling beverages. After playing a few times I've enjoyed playing out there more as long as its cheap $20 or less.

This was our first time playing this course. Even though it was a bit cold, and the course is challenging with lots of water and bunkers it was still a fun day. The staff was very nice. The pace of play was good; we didn't have to wait and there wasn't anyone pushing us.

It was a hot tee time....for only 1 person....when i got there they were going to send me off as a single.
I waited 40 min to be paired with another guy that had purchased a hot tee time..for only 1 person, and they were going send him off as a single...????
do they have to offer hot tee times? so they just
make it available for singles?

This course is close to my house, so i get to play it several times throughout the year. Greens were super fast and that was great. bunkers always need work and there are many blind shots with hazards that could be shown better. but all in all i enjoy playing this course and would definately recommend through golf now.

course is in wonderfull shape. I played with a friend and was his first time on this course. There are a lot of subtle or hidden hazards that you need to play the course a couple of times to understand and appreciate the challenges they provide. I love the layout myself

Greens had sand lines from mowing. Course should be ready to play if you have a tee time. Staff was very rude when sand problem brought up. Never go back, they lost 3 avid golfers that day.

I've played this course probably 20 times over the last three years and I always go back because of the value. It's relatively cheap and there are always good deals to be had.

The course itself is in OK shape. Some of the greens are in rough shape because it seems like very few people replace a divot and some of the bunkers have weeds growing out of them. If this is your first time, take the course guide from the pro shop. There are lots of blind shots and it can be difficult trying to figure out where to aim.

Again, all in all it's a value based course. You'll see people in jeans and a tee shirt, you'll hear loud talking, you'll see people hit 4 shots off the tee. If you can handle that every once in a while this is a good enough course for the value.

Pace of play was super slow, it took 2 hours and 35 minutes to play 9. There were many at least 3 groups of 5 and even a 6 some on the course. After I went on on the turn and complained about the pace of play the club attendant and pro said it's normal to have a 5 hour round and said you should expect that on a weekend. I totally disagree I play during busy times of day and haven't had a round go longer then 4 hours and 20 minutes. I play at least 30 rounds a year at many courses and pace of play should be right around 4 hours.

Most of the holes, for a first timer is a blind shot. Course book did recommend correctly where to aim and they do have 150 yard barber polls. Trust them and hit it straight.

The greens were in rough shape, lots of ball marks etc.

The course was in very good condition and the staff was friendly. With that being said the entire round you have no idea what you are shooting at. Nothing but blind shots. Very frustrating way to golf.

The course was slow due to holiday . 5hr round but a very nice day.

Fire your greens keeper. Greens are the most beat up I have seen this year. Many blind shots. Hidden water.

Great links-style course that is a great value. Little bit of a drive from the cities, but worth it.

Firstly, the course is in excellent shape, you won't find better condition.
If you go, please get a local to play with you. It's almost impossible to figure out where the holes go. There's plenty of room to spray your shots, but because the holes are mostly "back to back", it makes you a little worried that you might get pegged. They will give you a course booklet, and READ IT. There is ao much trouble that is hidden, you'd never see it yourself. If it's your first time, DO NOT WALK this course. You need a cart so you can ride up to see where you're hitting, and to make sure it's clear for your next shot.
