They needed a ranger to keep pace enforced
We already had 6 carts backed up on the 10th tee when they decided that evidently wasn't enough carts and allowed 4 older ladies (the old ladies were great except their drives went no further than 20 yards.) we couldn't get around anyone to jump on the next tee because it seemed each tee box had 2-4 carts waiting for holes 11,12,13, and 14. Trust me. We tried and dragged our cart back dejected and went back in cue.
We finally had to jump off the 16th tee at 1:50pm (our tee time was 9:15am.)
It was $29 bucks too much. I golf to de-stress not have golf balls whipping by me, people driving all over the putting greens and the obsessed golfer who won't get a new ball after looking for a stray for 15 minutes. They seriously. Need. A. Ranger.
This is a course which requires good course management.
I have played this course several times and I'm challenged each time. It is a links style course with many blind shots because of the because of the course layout.
This time out was the best value of any time I've played here. I got a hot deal on Golf Now and paid less than $15.00 for 18 holes with a cart. A super value for the money to play a very good course thatis in great condition. It is also very convenient to my home.
Course is close to home and with Golf now - affordable.
I like this course, it is tough on a windy day but normally in good shape. lots of blind shots on the back - sometimes good sometimes bad. Hate to loose a ball when you feel like you had a great shot but it can happen on 15 and 16. I love wrapping up on 18 - you have to know the course to shoot well.
super fun to play. variatey of holes
play there alot, easy to find in lakeville. try this course, you will love it.
challenging.
If you have a little description on the scorecard for each hole such as how far to the water or to the trees would be helpful for first time players.
Moderate to challenging
Some fairways are In need of repair, greens to, nothing major, end of season.
Fair but challenging course, great value, easy to get on and play.
Poor shape
First time playing this course on a coupon deal ($26 inc. cart). We could tell as soon as we loaded up the carts that maintenance of the course could be an issue. While there are some very challenging holes, the course overall seems to 'tricked out' in its design with lots of unnecessary blind shots, strange tee box placements, etc (had trouble on several holes trying to tell where the next fairway was). The 'meat' of the fairways were in okay condition, but everything else, not so much. Many bunkers had been let go to weeds and they had aerated the greens much earlier in the season than is typical, and so it made for a frustrating round, not getting putts to go down. If the course was well taken care of, it would have been a better experience for sure.
Needs work!
The course has potential to be really nice but they take absolutely ZERO pride in maintaining it. Weeds growing out of bunkers and weeds all over the fairway. How do you lose balls in the middle of the fairway? Fairway grass was long and very uneven. Needs major makeover. I like the design of it but it was very upsetting that they let this course get that out of hand. Oh one more thing, our cart died ran out of gas and took them 20 mins to come out. Won't be going back. Wish I could give this a 1/2 a star.
Poor conditions
course was in bad condition they don't water the course. great layout of the course, it was just in rough condition.
Great course, tough first time through.
A lot of blind shots/greens/hazards meaning if youre not playing with someone thats played there before, you will have a hard time deciding where to hit. Great course though, challenging but not over the top.
This course could be good if it was kept up.
Most sand traps washed out and hard and full of rocks and lots have weeds growing in them, some over a foot tall. Cart I used and carts waiting to be used were dirty.
Great course for $20-30 bucks.
Course is very easy to play with not to much trouble. Bunkers need some attention but they are working on them. Expect lots of blind shots, it is nice to play it with someone that has played there before if you have high expectations of playing well.
Always packed.
I teed off at 6:45 AM, and was waiting at every tee box for the group in front of me. I feel that was more a factor of the super slow group ahead of me given my tee time, but later tee times garner even slower play at this course.
Interesting Course Layout, however in poor shape
Played 9 holes on a Sunday evening. Pro shop staff didn't really seem to know what was going on and sort of stood behind the desk until I initiated communication. The course had a nice layout but was in very poor condition. Tee boxes were not level and were filled with large divots. Every bunker I saw was erroded and filled with knee high weeds. Fairways were in good condition and greens were filled with ball marks. Overall, I would not recommend this course at current listed prices.
They are letting this course go!!!!!
This course has major issues with there many bunkers, they are full of rocks and need 1000's of lbs of sand added. They greens are in terrible shape. The price was right I paid only $20. This course used to demand $50. I would never play this course for more then $30. Not sure who is running this place but they should be fired.
cheap 18 holes
Bunkers didn't have sand in them. Either had to putt on wet greens or wait for crew to mow them. But for 22 for 18 and cart, it was OK. If I had to pay more, I would have been disappointed.
fun course to play
The fairways are in excellent condition as are most of the greens. Some are spotty. The sandtraps, because of all the rain are in poor repair, some without any sand, but they were working on t hem as we played.
This course was really challenging.
The narrow fairways really provide a challenge for average golfers like myself. It took me an hour to get to the course from where I live but I knew that going in. If I am ever in the area again, I'll definitely play at Heritage!
This course is challenging and no whole is the same.
Good course and always a great rate through GolfNow.
Sand traps could use some attention, otherwise course is in good shape!
Played this course a few times and have enjoyed each round. Nice facilities and a great staff!
