The Majestic At Lake Walden - 1st Nine / 2nd Nine

For Nov. 10 the course was in wonderful condition.. greens a little slow but still in great shape for this time of the year (especially in MI). Would recommend this course to any skill level player. Will return in the Srping. Played holes 1-18, back nine a real challenge.. fun course!!!!!

Some holes at The Majestic have a links course feels but many have a real Northern Michigan feel. Challenging but fair test. Good shape tee to green. Have played all 27 holes and think the "middle 9", holes 10 to 18 are the toughest. Definitely on my "play again" list. O'Malley's Pub just a few minutes away on Old 23 is a great place for dinner after the round.

This course is nice & worth playing. We got a deal the day we played so it was worth playing at that price. The summer prices are too high for us to play there but the course is very pretty and challenging.

This is a out standing course ,beautiful , very scenic. Don't miss playing if you have a chance

This was my first time playing this course and it definitely won't be the last. Very straight forward track with zero gimmicks. My only complaint was losing a few balls in the leaves but what can you expect in mid-October. Top ten course in Metro Detroit. A must play.

Golfed as a twosome with my son. Got to T off early and finished 18 holes in a little over 3 hrs.

The majestic is my favorite course in Southeast Michigan. I consider it my home course. Greens are recovering from airation at this time which is expected this time of year.

Great course, Very challenging. Me and my buddy played 3yrs ago, we want wait that long again.

I was very impressed with the whole experience at Majestic. I researched online before my trip to Detroit what the top courses were & Majestic always came up in the searches. Beautiful course, it's 3 9 hole courses.

Only disappointment was i wanted to play all 27, but Hole's 10 - 18 were under maintenance so couldn't play. But mext time in Detroit I will definitely play again

Never saw another golfer. Beautiful course, wide open fairways with challenging greens. Love the GPS on every cart.

I love this course. Unfortunately I don't get to play it as much as I would like to as it is far away and expensive if I don't find a great deal on GolfNow.

The layout is very challenging and the course is AMAZING! Many holes playing longer than it appears to the eye. Enjoy all the turkey's you will see while golfing.

Whether you tear the cover off the ball or muddle through your 18 holes, a day at The Majestic is always fun. you know the expression "a bad day on the course is better than a good day at work". That definitely is true especially here.

This is one of favorite local courses. I always look forward to playing The Majestic. The course is challenging yet offers a chance for recovery without to much penalty on all the holes. This particular day I played the traditional 1-18 track, my personal favorite. The greens are receptive, hold well and putt well with true roll. This year, like many other courses, some of The Majestic's greens are recovering from the extreme cold and snow mold. Go play a round of golf at The Majestic and you won't be disappointed.

I really loved this course. Very challenging. Greens are well cared for, sand bunkers were groomed. Many fairways were uneven. This course requires good shot placement. I wish my game had been more "up to the challenge" but I still enjoyed myself. I'm coming back to take another crack at it.

Pretty course - Up north look and feel, no houses on course, wide fairways. Fair tee boxes for women. Good pace of play. Friendly staff.
Negatives- quality of sand not great, the on course restrooms were out-of-order.
