Deceivingly challenging
Great course. Some holes dare you to use driver off the tee when a shorter wood probably should be used. Challenging greens. Great day
Frustrations
The two people working in the pro shop didn't think the GolfNow deal included the cart. It took awhile for me to pull up the reservation and show them that the cart was included. They made me feel like a criminal. Won't be rushing back.
Staff was super accommodating!
Staff checking my group in on Easter was super friendly and offered my dad and I a military discount. He didn’t have to, but did! We will be back for sure!
Oak Marsh is a good course and value!
Via golf now online app I set up a golf outing for my brother and I on Sunday late morning.
The course was in good shape. The greens looked good and the rough had been recently
cut short. We played 18 holes in just over 4 hours (decent pace).
I used a golf now special to book so the rate with cart was good.
Poor Experience
I made a mistake and accidentally booked the wrong date for a tee time. No idea how, but i intended to book for a Friday and accidentally booked for a Tuesday. I didn't realize my mistake until Tuesday night when the tee time had already passed. GolfNow attempted to contact the course and see if they would be willing to credit me and book a tee time for over the weekend.
They were not willing to do anything for me. My human error cost me $130.
I have not played here and after this experience I do not intend on ever playing here. Plenty of other courses that actually care about the golfers experience.
Course was in great condition. The greens were firm and fast. Great tee boxes all leveled. All in all would play it again and recommend it.
