Timber Creek Golf Course

Course was in good shape. Need a little rain, greens we're fast. All in all, had a great time.

Had a great time until the last few holes. The setup made no sense with people hitting in every direction. Liked everything else

Great course with enough variety of holes to keep you engaged. A couple of blind shots but not too bad.

Conditions were very good. Some bumpy fairways.

We will be back.

The course is a fun layout with some great holes. It is a good value and the thaw take good care of the course.

We have played this course once before and both times have enjoyed ourselves, The conditions were excellent and the pace of play acceptable.

Our only concern here is that there seems to be a significant number of holes where you can not see from the tee box whether the players in front of you are out of the way. You need to be extremely careful or you will hit into people. Not sure what can be done about this.

Otherwise, we had a good day.

I understand that the grass needs to be cut but multiple tractors on every hole is too much. Several times they mowed over our balls Not to be parinold but it was like .... what did we wrong.

Love this course. I’ll get the hang of this golf thing someday. Those trees!

Great golf course for the money. Not long but has some fun challenging holes.

Challenging course but fair, greens are in good shape

Last time I was he here was around 3 years ago and due to the construction and the unconvinced it caused I never came back. But today, most of the repair shop hasn’t been completed and then Course plays very well. Difficult Shots off the t (blind) burn the overall layout was satisfactory. The only complaints is he last hole we played hole 9 (we started at 10) it wasn’t pure chaos. There were 3 groups hitting into each other (9 or more people) and to top it all of four they were hitting each other’s balls. Let’s just say, things were getting heated! But hey when it’s backed up it’s backed up what can you say butnhave that respect for other players smh.

My daughter and I enjoyed our day on the golf course at Timber Creek, the course was in good shape, the greens were on the slow side. There was not a beverage cart on a warm day, coolers were available. A good challenge of golf. All in all, I would recommend the course to friends

Greens were very nice. Fast, but fair. Layout was enjoyable. Very friendly staff.

The staff at Timber Creek treated me fantastically! Super friendly, super helpful. Course was in excellent shape, and fun to play.

Timber Creek is most likely my favorite course on the west side of the Twin Cities. Plenty of challenging holes, but not so many as to make for a frustrating round. The pace of play is always good, and the value for the price is always quite acceptable.

The only improvement I would recommend is improving the tee box on the sixth hole. Not a lot of grass there.

I have played this course a number of times and the greens are always pretty solid every time. The course has a number of unfinished tee projects that they must not have the money or time or staff or all of the above to complete.

There are many solid holes on the course but there are back to back short par 4’s (holes 11 and 12) in the 330-350 that are 90 degree doglegs that are not my favorite. Another weird 430 par 5 double dogleg follows those (13) that should just have the tee moved up and make it a par 4.

Outside of those 3 holes the layout is solid and they typically have nice greens so I don’t mind paying $24-30 to play once in a while.

In addition the staff are the nicest people youvsre going to meet. I played on Day when the heat index was pushing 100 and they had a gal from the pro shop handing out bottled water to those that needed it.

Timber creek isn’t a long course but that doesn’t mean it won’t make you think. Strategic golf will be rewarded while playing here. I had a fun experience and the staff was very friendly.

I usually golf at this course about 4-5 times a month. It is a part of the Twin Cities Public Country Club pass as a Tier 1 course. I love everything about this place. First, the staff is always so nice and helpful, they really seem to value you as a customer. The layout is very unique, with many twisting holes that test your shotmaking ability. The length and slope of the course is no joke. No super long, but a premium is put on accuracy. I find myself coming back because I feel this course tests every aspect of my game and forces me to get better. Please try if you are in the area.
