Always enjoyable, great value
I play this course a number of times each summer. I can always count on a pleasant staff, pleasant experience and an enjoyable round of golf. Well-maintained and constantly being improved.
Short drive for an excellent round of golf
I play Timber Creek approximately 10 times yearly. I maintain a club membership in Florida and use Golf Now for my rounds Minnesota. I find that Timber Creek is probably the best value available on Golf Now when you take into account all factors i.e., distance, quality of the course and personnel and the overall friendliness of the staff. Very professional and welcoming.
Enjoyable course, Excellent value
I have written reviews from Timber Creek previously and one of the follow-up with comments that reflect the excellence of value and friendliness of the staff. The course has undergone significant improvement in the past few years in maintenance and correcting some earlier defects. The ownership continues this excellent record of constant improvement and making the golfer feel welcome. Outstanding management and staff.
Great course
This course made for a very fun day of golf. I enjoyed the layout of the course and the conditions of the course were in great shape. The winter was definitely kind to the course! The ladies in the clubhouse were fantastic and they gave me a free ball marker! I’ll definitely come back for some more rounds!
A lot of fun
It was my first time out to this course and i was pleasantly surprised how great of shape the course is in. The greens are in great shaped and putts ran very smooth. Clubhouse was inviting and the ladies at the front desk were very nice. Definitely going to be going back!
A nice quiet course.
We are double bogie type golfers so take this with a grain of salt. The course was in nice shape. There were some places under repair which is to be expected this time of year and none affected play.
The greens were in great shape and though I didn't spend much time on the fairways, they are fairly wide and in great shape.
A great value in my opinion.
Excellent experience, outstanding staff
I play Timber Creek half a dozen or so times a year. The ownership has done an outstanding job of bringing the course up to the best standards of play and condition. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. They treat every customer with respect and courtesy. It's a real pleasure to play the course and each time you feel that the staff is gone out of their way to make you feel comfortable
Many improvements in past few years.
I play Timber once a week. Great course for intermediate players. With the numerous improvements it is improved.
Winter was kind to Timber Creek.
They have done a great job improving the course in the past three years. Trees that made odd shots have been removed, the grass quality and green speeds have improved substantially. The staff is very customer friendly. I like it better than similar courses within 20 miles.
Fun Course!
I love this PLACE! I golf it for ladies league, any event, and whenever I have the chance to golf. Well worth your trip through the beautiful countryside drive. You'll not be disappointed!
Great course — not challenging, but fun
Plenty of terrain to test your distances, greens are friendly to the casual golfer. Fun course to start the season off right.
Enjoyable Round
Played round during November so I was aware of what the course conditions would be, but they were actually very nice for the time of year. Greens were frozen so putting and chipping were tough but course layout was pretty nice. The man at the pro shop didn't smile or have any enthusiasm in his voice but that didn't bother me much. Pace of play was great. Passed by 3 groups of older men with no hassle at all, they were friendly and inviting. I drove over 45 minutes to get to the course since it was the only course open at this time of year. I would recommend if I lived closer to the course. Overall a good round, with some challenging holes for even the advanced golfer.
Fun and exciting
I cannot get over the improvements that have been made by the new golf superintendent, great job! John in the pro shop was awesome & super friendly.
Excellent value, great staff, constant improvement
The new ownership of this course has invested time, money and improved the course to increase my reading to five stars based on the combination of layout, condition and value.
The staff is friendly, helpful and attuned to the golfers needs. The course is undergoing constant improvement and rivals many of the private courses in condition and playability. My reading of the past few years has gone from average to excellent because of this ongoing continuous improvement. The staff makes you feel welcome in the same manner you'd expect from a private club.
One of my favorites...
They are making many improvements, but still needs help. Relaxing course, a bit gimmicky but we always enjoy it here. Very friendly staff!
Not even worth to play with the deal
This course is only decently maintained- long grass on greens, tee boxes unkept, fairways were so-so. the layout doesn't make much sense- a lot of holes run parallel to each other so bad shots wind up delaying other golfers. Also, there aren't any black tees, just blue white and red. The yardage was fairly inaccurate as well. Won't be coming back to play here.
Great value
Played this course for first time. Course in nice condition. Lots of blind shots which makes first time more difficult. I recommend using a gps golf app when playing.
