Great course
I’ve played several public courses in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and Manitou Ridge is one of the best. The staff was extremely friendly. The greens rolled true throughout the round and were in excellent shape. The rough was manicured magnificently and not so long that you didn’t break your wrists hitting out of it. The fairways were in incredible shape. My only regret in this review is that I almost don’t want to review the course to keep this gem off the radar of other golfers. We will be back for more fun in the very near future!!!!
Great old course!
A well maintained course. A tad shorter than newer courses. But, challenging greens makes it tougher.
The Ridge
Manitou is always a fun track to play.
The greens are what gives me the most work, lots of slope, pretty fast, and tough to read cuz of the “ridge”.
Professional staff very welcoming and friendly.
I’ll be back.
The greens are in good condition but hard to play. .
Pleasant round
Very nice time playing from beginning to end. Course condition good despite slightly dry condition with fast and true, consistent greens. Fairways were in good shape as well. I would recommend the course without any hesitation
Great course for very very amateur golfers
I had a foursome at this course for the very first time and we are all not very good golfers but we go to have fun and get better. This course had an amazing layout and it wasn't as challenging as we expected. We shot high but I would love to go back and lower my score

The older male worker in the pro shop was extremely rude, unfriendly and unprofessional. I would not recommend to a friend because of him alone. He even made me pay an additional $10.50 to take a cart. Course was in great shape but the staff ruined the experience.
Wonderful classic course
I love these older, walkable, courses with their mature trees and friendly rough. There is trouble to get inti, but it isn't onerous.
