Nice course
Nice course even though it rained heavy the night before, tee times were pushed back but it was a smooth start to the round.
Excellent Golf Course Butttttttttt
Excellent Golf Course Butt Blondy Behind the Food Counter has a Serious Attitude Problem! We went in to get Hotdogs and Treats at The Turn and She was Both Rude and Obnoxious!!! We do not Need to be Treated this way Like No We Dont got No Hotdogs for You and Not My Problem if You didnt Call it in!!!! Exact Words!!! Ugly and Cruel!!!! Wont be back Because of Her!!!
Beautiful Course!
I took my 12 year old son golfing here and we had a wonderful time! We had to battle some cold wet weather at first but it ended up being a wonderful round. The staff was great! I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to enjoy the sport of golf and include their children in it.
Fairways were in poor condition, greens were fine.
New and improved
It has been a few years since I had played this course. I was really excited to see some money being spent on the club house. Granted there was some outside construction going on but the new facilities are going to be great. I look forward to coming back again and playing a round.
Great value very nice course
We played on a KC Chiefs Home game Sunday for $20 and change per person. The course is in great condition. Greens are fast but true. Fairways are groomed.
Fall golf with leaves and sun angle still make the round challenging.
FYI you have to park at the private airport during clubhouse constructions.
Overall great value and great day.
Course in excellent condition!
Greens were like carpet! Entire course was in wonderful condition. With completion of new clubhouse this will be one of the best values in all of Clay County.
Huge improvements
If you can look past the airport Being the club house and the horrible looking area at first tee, you will enjoy the course. Zoysia fairways are looking good. Newer carts that will move quickly. Super soft greens. The fairway roughs are way to tall. Lost several balls today when I knew they were in the area. Also found a few that others must not have been able to find. Course is challenging on certain holes and easy on others that help your score. I will be back.
Excelsior
Course was in great shape and pace of play was good. Fairways were relatively generous given a mature course with lots of trees. Only draw back was a new club House was being built so had a temporary club house at the Excelsior airport with limited facilities.
Excelsior Golf!
Haven't played the course in years. Heard it was in good shape so decided to see for myself. The fairways, tee boxes and greens were in very good condition. Greens are very soft but roll well. Give it a try, I don't think you will be disappointed.
Great course under renovation
I really enjoyed playing here yesterday. I definitely would like to play again when family comes to visit. The course was taken care of though very tight and a lot of times other players were on each other's fairways or greens.
golf at Excelsior Springs
The weather was changing - a few very light showers in the morning but changed about 11 am and was excellent. The golf ( and company) was great, course is in great shape. A new clubhouse is being built so the amenities could be better. Ed J.
Good Course
Course was in good condition, pace was quick, staff was nice. Will definitely play this course again.
