Par 3 at Riverside Golf Club

They cram as many people as possible, don't throw away your receipt because they need to verify you payed before going on the first tee, it was honestly insulting. The course rewards people who hit the ball in a straight line, because the holes are all the same just different distances. Straight line on every hole, just hit the ball straight. Very good course for beginners. Not challenging for those trying to take their game to the next level. Probably won't come back

Slow play, greens slow, not kept up

This course is a great course for a beginner. The course is flat.

Greens a bit chewed up, looks as someone had some hard spikes and was probably 300lbs!

Hard to get under the ball in the "ruff" to due some spots being just dirthe in spots. Overall for under $20 for 18 w cart, not bad!

A lot of times if you go to a course you have to pay large fees and book a time. Riverside, however is a great course to play when you just want to get out and play. There is no tee time needed. and it will only cost a couple bucks. Its nice and flat and only par 69 so you can get in and out. also there is a par 3 course to play if that's what you want. You get everything you pay for.

Ive read some of the reviews and I wonder how long ago the negative ones were. I found plenty of grass on tee boxes and the fairways were coming in nicely. Considering this course was flooded in January they've done a great job getting it going.

I went on a Monday right before lunch and the clubhouse was closed due to plumbing. When I got to the 1st box, it was all dried dirt and didn't get any better as the round went on. Some of the holes were hard but had lots of par three's

There is no grass on the course and only 10 holes are open.

If you are looking for a cheap course it works. Some staff are cool others are not. The fairways are mostly dirt. The greens were ok. Too many people on the course. It's easy to hit others if you aren't accurate. My buddy is new to golf and almost hit people a couple of times. There isn't on option to wait, they were on other holes. I got it for $15 so it's hard to complain, but if I'd only go there when playing with people who are new to golf and intimidated. The issue with that though is that they may kill someone. I may go back if my only option is to play in Fenton. I've also posted some of my best scores here. I'd crush scores there is there was grass to hit from.

My husband and I played 18 holes at Riverview on November 3, and happened to hit a truly wonderful day! We played 18 holes in under 4 hours -- the conditions were wonderful and the pace of play was terrific!

The greens were in fabulous shape, albeit not very fast greens. They had little or no grass on the tee boxes, and it was not mowed. Same goes for many fairways. grass was not "rough" hieght or thickness, jsut "unkept".

NIce layout, plenty of water and trees to penalize you if you go right ro left, but it is very short.

They pack the groups in on nice days, and the fact some people think they can drive the greens on some 260-275 yard Par fours slows things down even more. The course is favored by seniors and we foudn thier defination of "ready golf" did not match our groups - when it came to getting in and out fo the cart and allowing partners to play out of turn.

Very nice municipal course, flat, great pace of play. Will definitely do it again. Good value.

I had an early Friday morning tee time and for some reason there were about 25 groups in front of me already who were all older and played SLOW. It is kind of common sense as a golf course organizer to not put a single after a bunch of foursomes. It was REALLY frustrating.

Also the course conditions are AWFUL. the tee boxes were some of the worst tee boxes I have ever hit out of, and the fairways were horrendous.

I played 18 for 20 dollars. I honestly would not play this course for free, I will never go there again.

No reward for hitting in the fairway and no punishment for hitting in the rough. You basically hit everything off of crab grass or dirt patches. On top of poor course conditions, in one hour I had only completed two holes because the course was that backed up. Instead of alternating starts on the front and back, they jam packed everyone on the front.

Trees need trimming along some fairways, greens are in rough shape, many fairways are mostly crabgrass/water grass. Bunkers were in surprisingly good shape and contained good sand.

Had a 9:30 tee time on a Saturday morning. Our two some did not get paired up and ended up having to wait at least 15 minutes on every tee box. Our round took a little over 5 and a half hours to play. Needed better tee time management. There was also a homeowner who we walked out of his house next to the course in nothing but his whitey tighties to get his mail. Pretty funny

Beautiful course, narrow fairways on some holes, which I like. Played both courses (18 hole & 9 hole par 3). Loved both. Thank you
