Unplayable Conditions
Unfortunately it’s not their fault.... due to the crazy flooding they only have 11 holes available.... this caused mass pile ups for pace of play.... staff was very friendly and professional... best wishes to the course getting back to normal!
The flood
Due to recent flooding half the holes were closed , had to play 9 different holes twice, they’re trying but it won’t be very enjoyable until things dry out
Not Ready For Play
Stay away for this year! They had only 9 holes open. Paid $20 to play 18 holes, which is the same price I paid to play 18 holes earlier this year when all 18 were open. The holes that are open for play are in terrible shape. Fairways are missing grass and are mostly weeds. #10 green is not a green at all. This course needs a ton of work before it should be played. Also waited 20 minutes on every hole because they over book the course.
A great short course
This is the perfect course for the intermediate golfer. It's priced at about the same as some longer courses in better condition, but for anyone ready to take a step up from par-3 courses this is an excellent first step.
Just a fun course. Not for competitive players
This course isn’t bad but it’s more of a relaxing course to go out and hang with friends. This isn’t the greatest course but I wouldn’t call it bad.
Hot day for golf
The trees provided enough shade to make a hot day bearable. The first time playing had a hard time finding my way to the next hole several times.
Great Course and great people
Played another great round of golf. Staff were extremely friendly made the course play even better. My friends and i will be back.
Always fun
Played father's day weekend with my son. It was easy enough for him not to be frustrated
Great Value
Many of the other reviews will be overly harsh, comparing this course to one of the more expensive municipal-supported or semi-private tracks in the area.
This course is well maintained for the layout which is largely devoid of sand; save for the trademarked 10, which forces a decision to go for the glory of a par 4 Eagle or layup in front of the green-wide sand bunker jealously guarding the 230 yard carry over her.
For the price and casual atmosphere this is a jewel of historic Fenton, Missouri.
Rough Course
The day was perfect, the grass was not. There was crabgrass everywhere and the fairways were patchy.
Very Good Value
On short notice, wife & I played 9 holes on a pleasant January Sunday afternoon for a total price of $35 via Golf Now. The staff was very accommodating. The course is located only 10 minutes away from our house in Des Peres & was more challenging than I remembered. The one drawback was that the course was cart path only, which made little sense to me since the fairways were quite firm and the Bermuda grass was dormant.
A little long for a beginner course
Course layout very flat not very exciting Fairways barely passable Green's slow and not very well attended to overall not much of a challenge and rather boring
Not Bad
It's a decent course, has a problem with flooding due to being next to the river. but overall its a decent 18 that wont cost you an arm and a leg to play. also extremely friendly staff and pretty easy to get a tee time last minute.
