Slow but expected on Father's Day.
Course was in good condition and fair. Play was slow really appeared to be one group slowing it down, could have been addressed sooner but was around the 13th hole.
Worth the drive...
Located about 8 minutes west of the Wentzville exit, this course is well worth the drive. Navigate your way through the first 6six hole and then be wowed by the natural beauty of the lake and fairways across the road. You can play every club in your bag and be challenged. Tee boxes in good shape, fairways are beautiful, bunkers contain real sand, greens roll a bit slow but true. Steady your nerves for the par 3 to a semi-island green 11th hole! Go on a Saturday or Sunday for the best bbq grilled hamburgers and hotdogs you'll ever taste!
incline village
the course was in ok shape, rough was a little long and hard to find your ball in. the staff was good, but the course was way to crowded and the mosquitoes were in swarms . our cart was covered in them . made playing not very pleasant.
The course is challenging with water coming into play on several holes.
This course is challenging with water coming into play on several holes. It has tight fairways, and lots of blind shots. It is target golf at best. It was a long round as I think the tee times were booked to close together. The staff is nice, and the people on the course were very pleasant. We joined with a two-some behind us and they were a lot of fun.
Nice course!
This course is challenging enough for the average or better golfer, while not overwhelming the novice.
The course has very open fairways and a lot of dog legs to consider. Most of the holes average 300 yds.
I would play this course more often but the price is a little steep. I took advantage of a hot deal and came out to play at a bargain. I hadn't heard a lot about the course but I must say I was impressed with the staff and conditions. We have had a lot of rain lately; therefore, the fairways were pretty soggy. The greens were in great shape! The back nine plays faster than the front, due to the course layout. All-in-all well worth the trip and I would definitely come again for the "right" price.
Great value, well kept, several challenging holes
Course offers great value for the money, as the course is generally well kept, offers a number of challenging holes, and the pace of play has always been very good. We generally finish 18 in under 4 hours.
The course is usually in good shape.
This course is always in good shape. The greens are really nice, fairways are great. Sometimes the tee boxes take a beating. The course is fair, especially true with what tee boxes you play from. With golf now pricing, and also senior pricing this is a true value golf course. Yes it is quite a ways from the St. Louis area, but the value is there.
Scenic
The course is very scenic and relaxing. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is a very well maintained 18 hole golf course that is not as stiff and strict as some others. Very highly recommended.
1st time at this course
Loved the scenic views of this course. The one problem I had with the course is on one of the holes, you hit over a road. This is troubling when you're trying to focus on your drive, but also must be concerned whether a car is approaching. Other than that, course is very nice. They are currently remodeling the clubhouse.
Fun course
I always enjoy playing Incline. It really does cater to all skill levels. Fairways could have used some attention, but, then again, it was 30° outside and had been for some time.
The course is better than I remember.
The course is in really good shape for January--greens smooth and somewhat quick. Fairways also in good shape. #18 good finishing hole, #11 always fun "island green," especially with wind whipping off the lake. #7 par 3 uninteresting hole. Wouldn't pay the rack rate, but get a deal on GN and it's worth it.
windy wonderland
if you want to take a normally easy course and make it difficult just add a northern winds at 15 -20 mph then hitting these small greens becomes next to impossible and add in the elevation changes and you have a great golf challenge , incline will always be on my favorites list as it is a good value and the staff are always wearing a smile and have a positive attitude
Fun Course
Course looked great, nice community. Fairways and greens were in fantatic shape, tee boxes a little rough but not bad. Kind of strange they only had ball washes ( and water ) every 6 or 7 holes, same with trash cans. Will play again especially at 11.00 per layer with GolfNow....
Wasted time
Took 4.5 hrs was backed up and overcrowded...The old man at first tee box wouldnt take my tee time from golf now cause it wasnt on his list...10:02 is the time I reserved the night before, 11:15 is when we were allowed to t off...longest day of golf ever...terrible place..
One of my favorite courses.
Very scenic and well maintained. Noticed a shortage of ball washers and restroom facilities on this round. Unusually soggy around the greens and some fairways.
This course can challenge you, but has holes with forgiveness.
Considering the record breaking drought the Midwest area experienced recently, this course was in excellent condition! The greens were some of the best in the area. Some water to deal with and plenty of trees make for challenging holes. Beautiful surroundings make this a great place to place and very reasonable in price.
Awful Pace!
This is my second time playing at Incline Village and more than likely the last. The course is fantastic, very good condition, and fun to play. The problem we had was that we were sent out for our tee time behind a four man scramble tournament. We only were able to complete 13 holes when we had no choice but to leave due to the pace, and this was after five hours of play. I don't think I would recommend this course unless it was less than 15 dollars a person.
Good course for the $
I do like this course. Very good for the money but they love double and triple booking tee times. Almost every time I book a tee time there they have about six groups trying to go out within twenty minutes of each other. They also put two groups out into the middle of a tournament earlier this year!!!!!
