Not worth the price
For a course that charges nearly $80, I would have expected the course to have been taken care of better. The greens were horrible. HORRIBLE! The course has no drainage so it was standing water EVERYWHERE. I’ve played it many times in the past but it has fallen to the basement. We are paying for the zip code and not the course quality!
Nice Track
Nice course for the price. Course conditions were in good shape, greens were slow and need some attention. I definitely recommend. I will play again.
Too many people not enough space
I read the reviews about this golf course before I went to play it but I found out for myself that none of them were false they were all true the place is packed overbooked actually but I guess that's beside the point the worst part was is that we almost got into a fight with the two guys that they put us with because the one guy couldn't play his own ball you played my partner's ball first then a few holes later he played my ball things got kind of out of hand but we moved on definitely won't be back way too crowded
Course not to bad enjoy playing it think that some cosmetics of the area could improve or be taken care of better considering the prices they charge.. additionally the wife will not be back more so because there really isn’t a ladies dedicated tee box on any hole as they have you. Lady’s teeing off from in the middle of the fairway
This course has an amazing layout
Staff was super friendly, course layout was pretty great. Challenging holes that you have to be creative. Greens were firm. We were an early tee time so didn’t get to try the food at the club house but it’s a very nice clubhouse. We will definitely be back
Course in good shape
The course is in good shape as of June 2026. The layout is challenging but fair. The pace of play is slow as usual at Bear Creek.
The greens are extremely fast and need to be wet down or something! Also there were apparently some no cart areas and so our cart quit and when an employee came to get us going he was quite course about us driving where we did, but there were no signs advising not to drive there or I wouldn't have done so!
Course was in good shape. Greens rolled nicely and were challenging.
The turkey sandwich deal is a joke. You are way behind the other local courses.
Slow Round
5 1/2 hour round, 3 1/2 of it was the first nine where a foursome was giving lessons to a young female during the round. No Marshall anywhere to be found. Greens were patchy in places, fairways and rough were fine. This is a challenging course with long par 4’s, even from the senior tees. Most bunkers were more hard pan than sand.
Good and Bad
I like this course. I like the layout, and it is in a very nice setting. I think some of the houses are a little close. They have nice facilities, but they shut them down early, so at the turn, around 5:30 pm, there was a private function in the main dining area, and the auxiliary area downstairs, was shut down too. The cart girl was very nice, but the only food she had was candy. I had skipped lunch and was starving. Even she stopped at around 5:30, so there was nothing.
Three other notes:
1 - we didn't see any ball washers on the course, which wasn't great when the ground was wet and muddy.
2 - people don't seem to fix their ball marks on the greens, so they were pretty bumpy.
3 - the guy checking people in at the clubhouse wasn't very nice or helpful. One might say rude. His main concern seemed to be getting all the carts in on time so he could go home. It seems like he hates golfers - maybe it was just something about us, but I don't get this anywhere else. His attitude seemed like he was really going out of his way to let us play at his golf course, rather than one of customer service.
