First time on this course! Staff extremely friendly in the clubhouse! Course is very hard...lots of water hazards and sand traps but we managed. Weather was perfect and we will be back to try again!!! Greens could use some work but that is just nit picking.
Ungodly Slow
This place always plays slow but today was the worst. They pack the course and have 0 marshal presence/enforcement. Today we completed 18 holes in 5 hours and 48 minutes.
I hope to never play this course again.
There is obviously nobody managing this place.
Birdies!
Great track with a perfect mix of holes. 11 is an amazing par 5 that only in the right conditions can be reached in two. Lots of strategy involved with this course. And of course 17 the narrow drivable par 4. 🤌
Golf intéressant
Un bon dessin pour des trous variés. Les fairways sont larges, les Par 3 sont longs. Malheureusement le parcours a souffert des conditions météo.
This course needs work
Used to love playing here with my father when I was younger. It was disappointing to see how the course looked
We were playing 18 holes and told to start on hole 10. Four large sprinklers were blasting across the fairway right in the landing zone of the drive. The water was enough to affect ball flight, and I didn't want to take a shower while hitting my approach. When I advised staff, I was told there was nothing they could do, it was on a timer? Well turn off the timer. No one wants to get soaked on the first hole. My impression was not a real bright crew running the place.

Played with a discounted green fee via Teetime.
Can tell they are working to improving course conditions.
Could use more water coolers on course.
Pace of play was very good.

Improvements are obvious
Been playing this course for several years and it is clear they are investing back into it. Sand traps were redone a couple years ago and are some of the best in the area. Several tee boxes were being redone on this visit. Hopefully they'll eventually fix the transitions from cart path to course - these are often dirt and rough. Layout is challenging with trees and water lining almost every hole. Only negative is they need to spread out their tee times from 8 minutes to maybe 10 minutes given the aforementioned difficulty. Its rare to play this course in less than 5 1/2 hours. This round was no exception.
Horrible pace of play!
Pay someone minimum wage and free golf, to move them along! Horrible!
Best course in wentzville, lake St. Louis area
Even under extreme temp this week. Greens were in good shape, firm and fast but still able to receive a proper wedge shot.
Hole 10 fairway is being improved so tee boxes were moved up to allow sod to take. Noticed were posted almost everywhere.
Clubhouse staff and management always go the extra mile for guest. Grounds crew works hard for a proper setup.
League in evening is always busy. My son and I enjoyed a nice round this Monday.
Range has good balls at good price. Putting and chipping green is always in good shape.
Great condition
The course is in great condition. Lots of good challenge. A good test for power hitters and positional play, use a wide diversity of shots.
