Enjoyable round
The course is in great condition. The carts are in great shape and we love the GPS screen to help on the blind holes. We ate a late lunch and the food was delicious!
Nice experience
Overall a wonderful facility. Only suggestion would be to improve signage for navigating the course.
Amazingly well conditioned fairways
It rained the night before but the course was in excellent shape, and I enjoyed it tremendously. The layout is most entertaining with interesting elevation changes. Really wanted to turnaround and play the course again! The clubhouse seemed newly renovated and was bright and clean.
Conditions were excellent and the fairways were so plush it was like hitting off of carpet! Maybe the best fairways we have played on this summer. Greens were sloped and very challenging. Hardly had a flat putt the entire day. Was disappointing to see that the greens had so many unrepaired ball marks. Come on people - do better! The bunkers were uneven, though. Some were excellent with perfect sand, some were decent and some were just mud.
There are a number of blind shots, which I don’t love. Made for challenging lines off the tee, especially for a course we hadn’t seen before. A number of holes had challenging carries over water. Holes 9, 12, and 15 were notable ones with water majorly in play. Not sure how but we got into a perfect slot and hardly had anyone around us. Played in under four hours and never waited on any shots.
Big thumbs up and highly recommend making the trip out to play. Would be hard to beat the high quality of the course for the $68 weekend rate we paid!
Great Experience
From the point, we arrived, it was evident that a lot of money had been poured into this course. Plush carpet, fairways, greens were fantastic, golf carts were upgrades to your typical golf carts and had GPS in them. Clubhouse was only two years old and it was absolutely fantastic. The entire staff was just as friendly as to be. I will most certainly play this course again when I come back into town.
Enjoyed the pace of play
course was busy, but the pace of play was somewhat better than normal. Fairways were in excellent shape but the greens need a little tlc.

Not only is the golf course in good condition but the onsite restaurant is excellent too. Pace of play was on target. Quickly becoming a favorite.

I forgot how much I love coming here to practice and work on my game. This course has so much to offer as far as variety of layouts and wide open fairways. Both fairways and greens are well maintained and grass looking great. Very nice and pleasant scenery on all 18 holes. The blind spots on some of the holes I find quite challenging to figure out best possible shot placement. I shot my lowest score here this week, so I am one happy golfer!!!!🏌🏻♀️⛳️💖
Woods Fort - A Great Golf Course
This was the second time I played the course. I went with my son and it was his first time. The greens and fairways were in good shape. The pace of play was slow, seemed like it would be a 6 hour round at first, but was more like 4 hours 40 minutes when we finished. It was a hot day.
Nice course
The greens were clean and fast enough. the day we went it wasn't crowded so pace of play was good. An enjoyable experience.

Comparing this well maintained course to a PGA course
With the best kept greens,,,on some of these 60” sloping greens you are challenged to get to the cup
In three putts ! I was lucky enough to get two EAGLES
on par 4 Holes # 2 and #17 ! It is not unusual
to take 5 strokes to get to the cup on Hole # 18
And the veranda on Hole # 19 has close up views

My new Favorite course in St. Louis Metro area!
For the price this course was amazing. New GPS guided carts that show other players on the hole taking away the guess work of how far someone is in front you! To very well maintained fairways and greens. Rolling fairways provide an amazing view and enjoyable game play! Club house looks all new and the simulator bays were a nice touch. Worth the drive and will definitely be back!

The greens are borderline ridiculous!
If you want to experience crazy sloping and lightning paced greens, thus is the place! Course is beautiful, but the greens will crush all the other great shots from the round.
Closest course to a private course
This course is super challenging. It has a really good layout. There are a lot of blind shots. The greens are very fast.
