Raintree Country Club

Raintree is in a development that includes lakes, pools, gated community, etc. The golf course is part of that package. I went during the week so it was not very crowded. Here is what I found:
Pros: Accuracy is a must. Very narrow fairways and water that will come into play.
Course requires many different clubs based on the layout.
Cons: Greens were on the minus side and for this time of year and the great weather, that was disappointing, very sandy.
The course is short with some quirky holes and there isn't a course layout to go by.
Slow players who don't seem to understand the concept of playing through but that is not the course's fault.

Overall, if you are looking for a course that is short but still can be challenging I would give Raintree a try. I paid 19.00 on a hot deal so that is about what it is worth.

Booked on Golf Now and drove 40 minutes just to be told that the back 9 is being aerated. So now we only could play 9 holes. Then we were told that there's a 6 man ahead of us who play 3 times here a week. They were in their 80s and took 10 minutes to tee off

Get up to the greens and they're also being aerated and unplayable. After we chipped on we took our ball and went on it was so bad.

looks like they're putting money into this course, saw improvements on a few fairways. Greens are always nice, staff is friendly.

Over all was a nice time. The slope on the holes was not pleasant to me with bad knees and it told it's tale by the time Iwas on back nine. Had a good time though. Probably/won't play again.

No flat lies very hilly greens nice challenging golf course

This is one of the worst courses I’ve ever played, and I was in the golf industry for almost 10 years. The boxes had blind tee shots. Several approach shots were blind. The layout was wonky constantly downhill lies uphill lies. Your drives would never stay in the fairway often times you couldn’t see where the hole was on your second shot. the fairways were in bad shape. The greens were OK at best overall it was just a brutal place to play.

It’s true that some of the fairways, bunkers and tee boxes could be in a little better shape but for the price you can’t beat this place. It’s challenging but fun. A lot of ups and downs with blind shots and dog legs but it lets you play your entire bag worth of clubs. The staff is great and the rate of play is fantastic. I will frequent this course.

I have played Raintree many times prior. The course conditions were ok. It was cart path only , which is to be expected in the spring but I found some of fairways to be rather 'dirt like'. Especially the front par 5's. It did seem however, they had a lot of good fairways coming in nicely. The greens were in decent shape. The bunkers were absolute trash, I understand not a lot of investment will go into a bunker, but there was weeds growing in most, large rocks, and the sand might of well was tiny boulders. The staff is friendly and kind and even accommodated an off scheduled tee time. Thank you for working on the Cart Paths, we know you are updating them and getting them into a better condition.

This was definitely a challenging course. The fairways were still in pretty rough condition, the greens are really fast but overall a pretty good time. The cart path needs a lot of work.

Fairways aren't grown in yet, green were hard no digits after high shots the ball would just roll another 10 - 15 from its landing spot.

No sign to pre-order food prior to the turn. Took 20 mins to get food.
