Well maintained except for bunkers.
Love the course. Trees continue to be thinned out which is great. Please keep working on that. It's too bad the greens have been talin a devastating hit this hot summer. I will continue to play in 2 leagues the next summer.

Good Value
Haven’t played this course in a long time and was pleasantly surprised. Much work has been done to improve the property. Some of the greens were a little rough. Bottom line is that they are doing a lot of work on this course.
Some greens had a fungus, the sand traps were not playable & had not been raked in some time. I have played this course over the past ten years. The course is not being maintained to its 4-star rating. Too much emphasis on the pro shop, banquet room, and lack of emphasis on the golf course. I course rating has dropped to a 3-star. Hire a groundskeeper who knows what he is doing for starters.

Poor maintenance
The course is poorly maintained. The greens are in poor condition aswell as the bunkers. The price to play is the high for how the course is maintained.

Not Worth it At All
Played this course in the summer of 2021 and it was in pretty poor shape. Decided to give it another go this summer and it surprisingly was worse. The greens are absolutely beat up and dead and the fairways are like the rough at most courses. The course Marshall’s and starters don’t really help pace of play at all. For $50, it is absolutely not worth it at all.

Camouflage greens
Enjoyed playing this course however, some greens had significant brown dead grass areas making it look like the greens were camouflaged. Fairways and rough were in decent shape and consistent.

Really Nice Course
Always a pleasure playing Oak Valley GC. Fairways and greens were in good condition considering the extreme heat over the past month. Highly recommended. I look forward to playing it again soon.

Fairways choppy
The tee boxes were actually in good condition and the greens are better than they were last time but the fairways had a lot of chunks of dry huge holes

Good time, tough conditions
I agree with previous reviewers that the course staff/superintendent are fighting a tough fight with the summer that we’ve had. Played this course from ‘96-‘04 when it was under the Teamsters banner. I know it’s been a rough summer and the greens and certain areas of the fairway show it. Maybe some rain and TLC over the next year will improve conditions. Appreciate the folks in the clubhouse and super’s willingness to let us play until 8:30 PM to finish our 18.
