Work in progress
I have played there many times, before and after the change of hands. The course is coming along but has a ways to go. A lot of trees were still down on the course from the storms weeks ago and the fairways could use some work. The Marshals, to me were a little pushy and she didn't seem very friendly. Was quick to push us out on the course and quick to tell us to move it along without cause. Price was a little high considering the course condition.
Positives: The clubhouse looks fantastic and the remodel came out awesome. The staff and service in the restaurant were excellent. The cart girl Sam was top notch, was very helpful and friendly and was busting her butt to get golfers their food and drinks out on the course.
Hopefully things will continue to get better...

Slow pace
Got stuck behind foursome learning to play on Friday morning. Called clubhouse to get a marshal and no one showed up. Glad they only played 9.
Course was extremely wet consider we hadn’t had rain in a week.
6-Somes on the Course
Have played this course a lot over the years and it’s always just ok. However, if you have 5 groups of six playing the course and you still let others on there without telling them, THAT IS NOT OK.

Oak valley
Good price, slow play do to very wet conditions, some fairways not mown( 4’’ grass in the middle of fairway) , virtually no sand in traps on back nine.

Great Fair Layout
The greens were in good shape but the bunkers are a disaster and the fairways were in need of some work in a lot of places. Loved the layout

Course is making great improvements. Greens were in great shape but play was slow. 5 hrs. Is a little long to play 18
Decent course
They have some fairway issues here and there but the greens are in great shape, even after a morning tournament it
Definitely worth it
This course has improved so much I cannot emphasize it enough. I’ve played at this course atleast 30 times cause it’s very close to my home, in 2019 it was in rough shape new owners came in and really made some huge upgrades in 2020. My favorite course to play at.
First and last time playing here.
The staff is great. Everyone was very friendly. The course is in horrible shape though. Maybe it will get better with time. $35 for 18 seems excessive for playing here.
Hi, we are very sorry for the inconvenience you experienced at the course. Our goal is to keep the pace of play running smoothly and to never have it too backed up. As far as the raincheck goes, sounds like you prepaid for a Hot Deal on GolfNow. When this is the case, no money is paid to the pro-shop so there is no money that is owed back from the course. You may have booked other course times through GolfNow and that is why you were able to obtain a raincheck. If you call GolfNow, they would be happy to rectify the situation. We hope this clears any confusion up and we hope you give us another try in the future.

Worth the drive
My son and I spent the day at oak valley today, the course was in good shape, about what you'd expect with all the rain recently and lack of maintenance during the shutdown. Overall it's a great course to play, fun yet challenging, the carts were in perfect condition, and the staff was as friendly as could be. It's a little out of the way but worth the drive and well worth the money
