Perfect Day for the Perfect Round
Love this course, right off the highway for easy access.
A great day.
It was our first time playing this course and we really enjoyed it. The course was in fantastic condition. My wife and I were playing and we play a lot of golf at many different places all over the country. At St. Gen, we really appreciated that the forward tees (the ones she uses), were thoughtfully-placed and in as good as condition as the rest of the course. That isn’t always the case with the red tees at courses. It was well worth the one hour drive from STL city, and we’ll definitely be back.
Excellent course!!
Right off the Hwy 55 you can reach this wonderful course. It provides stunning fairways, challenging greens (they get smaller and smaller as you go thru 18) and exceptionally cut roughs. The staff is always so polite and friendly. There are several bathrooms along the course that are always clean and respectable. I will always go out of my way to enjoy this beautiful course.
Spectacular Course
I absolutely love this course. It has a full feature of wide open fairways, a few dog leg holes and pretty easy Par 3's. The course is in great condition. My only complaint is that the forward/ladies tee boxes are beat up pretty badly while the others looked perfect. Greens were perfect!! Fairways were beautiful and pristine.
Great time during the eclipse
Course is in good shape for early in the spring. Greens had recently been aerated but were in fairly good condition and should come in nicely. Course layout is nice. Some greens are very small, those holes are challenging. My son and I got to experience the eclipse while playing. People in the clubhouse were very friendly and welcoming. All in all, a fantastic experience yesterday.
Good Day for Golf and An Eclipse
Drove down from Saint Louis for the eclipse and decided to play golf ahead of it. This was the first time playing the course. The layout was pretty good, however, the greens are very small. The greens had recently been aerated so that affected a number of putts as it was not grown in yet. The staff was friendly, and pace of play was good with a 4-hour round. The total eclipse did not disappoint nor did the course. I would play it again after the greens are back to normal conditions.
Great again
This is a fun course not real long but really fun, you get to use a lot of the clubs in bag.
Great golf on a well kept course
Friendly Staff, and great course conditions after a very dry month, I plan to return often.
