Great course. Too many large groups
Course was in great shape, but groups of 4 playing together with other groups of 4 and a group of 5 made for a very long day. We had a group of 2 but they never let us play through.
Great coarse challenging pin placement and conditioned great!
I play here often I love the coarse. It’s a coarse where you won’t get into too much trouble off the tee shots into the green create a challenge along with some tricky pin placement.
Great Round!
Course was in great condition. Clubhouse staff and Snack bar girl were very friendly.
Plenty of blind shots
Course is nothing but up and down holes. Easily 70% of your shots are going to be hit completely blind. Clubhouse attendant was super nice. Course was not overpopulated at all. Unfortunately unless you can find a cheap time or there's nothing else available, I'd play somewhere else.
Always interesting
I have played this course several times this year. The course has been in great shape and they actually have water coolers ,working ball washers and all sand bunkers are ready for play...St.louis county courses are put to shame.
Hidden gem just 1 hour south of STL
This is a friendly course that is always in good condition. It is a wide open layout that is great for the average golfer but challenging enough for any player. Bermuda fairways and small but excellent bent grass greens are well maintained. Rough is mowed so play is always fast, under four hours even on weekends. Four sets of tees are in good shape. Greens were top dressed but coming into shape nicely. One person per cart and social distancing maintained. Club house is temporarily close but drinks, snacks and sandwiches available. Should resume normal clubhouse function mid May. Great experience’
Nice open course.
Very enjoyable layout. 6100 from white tees. Fairways somewhat rough, smallest greens I've ever seen. Fairly open. Great course to walk because of its rolling hills.
Great value...not for from St.louis area

Great Experience
Had a great experience @ Sainte Genevieve Golf Club. Drove out of STL to get to a place where there were enough open tee times to suggest the COVID-19 social distancing could be observed without issue. I found that place, and the ProShop was easy and safe to access through a side window. I walked and the fellow in the shop offered me a pull card. :-) Super nice! Course was in good shape for this early in the year. While the greens had been aerated, they were sanded well and had a good pace despite the conditions. I liked the layout --- easy to walk, greens and tees adjacent but not too close. Nice rolling, relatively open fairways that had good drainage; a few holes with water (creek, pond) and 90% of the greens were nicely sized and had good undulations. Only reservation was two greens on the back that were tiny, and if I had one suggestion it would be to think about making them larger to provide more options for pin placements. Oh, and BTW, the pace of play was outstanding. Keep that up!
Great course for the money!
This has become one of my favorite courses. Overall decent layout and shape of course. An amazing value for any golfer.

I had a great day of golf, course was in great condition and love they have all distances marks with yard marking sticks & in cart path. Made for playing and knowing distances very nice... and on top of all of that, the staff their was super nice and very helpful! Free water and free refills on soda was a nice surprise! I will go back and play again here forsure
