Golf Club Of Wentzville

The course was in excellent shape for this time of year. The greens are fast and rolled smoothly. The weather was warm but very windy which made each shot crave to be accurate. Slow play can be attributed to the (finally) warm weather that brought out an abundance of players.

Greens just mowed were very good shape get out here before heavy traffic ruins them again like all st Charles county courses no one fixes ball and spike marks

The course is in good shape and has only a few sand traps and water holes. It is good for beginners and those who like a change once in a while.

Played GC of Wentzville for first time a few months back. The course was in great condition. It was a busy Saturday but we started on time and the pace of play was just fine (Just over 4 hours). Staff was great and will certainly play here more often.

I love playing at Golf Club of Wentzville. I haven't played there in a couple of years due to the rudeness of the pro shop staff and the price. They used to be priced competitively a few years ago and then they went way up. We would even play our annual After-Turkey Day get-together there. Their prices went up about 30%. I knew it was going to be a bad day when they told us it was cart path only. But we played. Like I said, I love the course. Then it happened. We really start to slow down. We got to a place we could see a couple of groups ahead of us. We saw a five-some driving all over the course and not playing very well. I have no problem with beginners/non-golfers playing on the course, I play with one every week (my wife). I just think if they don't let people play through, then someone on the course needs to instruct them on the etiquette of golf. There were "marshalls" driving around or at least employees anyway, someone should have said something to them. Did I mention it was supposed to be cart path only? Anyway, I partially blame the two-some behind them, they probably should have pushed them a little and maybe that would have helped them realize what they were doing. To sum it up, whatever has happened in the last few years at Wentzville, has not made the course a better place to play. Oh, and the rudeness of the staff I was talking about, wasn't really rudeness, was more indifference to us. Not very welcoming there at all.

This course was recommended to us and we were a bit skeptical due to the lower rates but found out it is wonderful!

Since I live in NY I enjoy coming west to play this course in the fall. It is always in great shape and I have no problem getting a tee time. Not as difficult as some I have played back home but it is very pleasing to the eye and you can't just grip it and rip it...you must pay attention in order to score consistently. I enjoy my time spent at this course and always look forward to coming back.

For a first time golf experience it was just a matter of figuring out which way and how severe some of the doglegs were. The fairways and greens are in good condition. I personally prefer faster, firmer greens but these are in excellent shape. No bunkers make for easy play but take away from a real golfing experience. Overall an enjoyable afternoon. Will play it again when I can.

This course, one of the best maintained courses in the area, has challenging holes, a few relatively easy ones and diverse looks. The GC of Wentzville is constantly working to improve the conditions of the course and making changes to enhance the golfers experience.

Beautiful and well maintained. Food stall at the 10th Tee box is very nice. Nice and interesting fairways and good greens.

Course was in good condition, pace of play wasn't bad, staff could have been a little friendlier though

After a full summer of golf the course is still in very nice condition.

Good: Course condition, firm greens, solid staff.
Bad: Pace of play=5 hrs. Need more group seperation on the tee times. Course marshall needed for a little coaxing of the laggards.

Like playing the course, wish I could play it more but the cost is more than I am willing to pay.

The course plays fair to the point of your play. It will challenge your game with risk and reward holes. Ryan at the clubhouse is a great point of contact for all you needs. I would recommmend calling him prior to play to ensure the "red carpet" is rolled out for your round.

Nice course in good condition. One green was in bad shape. The group ahead of us was a 5-some and they complained that we hit into them several times on blind fairways. I guess we didn't wait long enough.

Love this course. My husband and I have now made this our choice location. For the dollar this is a great course to play.

Course was in great shape...a few greens suffering from the recent rains but nothing excessive. First time playing and definitely will be back. Course layout offers something different around every turn and forces some course management decisions.
