Great Course, no hazards
Great course to play, somewhat scenic, but there were nearly zero hazards on the course. Not a single sand trap. Good warm up round for the season, would recommend and would play again.
Get course , suburb green and fairwis
Our first time was exceptional. Course is in excellent condition .Great course for both men and women. I recommend most golfers will enjoy.
Rude
I'm not sure what was worse the extremely rude lady named Gail behind the counter or the urine smell building they make u pay inside of. The course itself is in good shape fun challenging course, with turtle shell greens mostly on the back nine. However, as long as Gail is there and the stench of the building I will never return or recommend thus course. I would drive an extra hour to golf instead of the 15min drive that this one is located from my house.
Out of the way but nice course.
Challenging course, 420+ par 4 from white tees. All greens have hills. Hardest par 3 I’ve seen , 12th.
Unpaved roads leading to course, come from West if you can. Last 2 miles from South is all unpaved.
There’s a smell in pro shop but not much issue these days as just go in to pay. Lady at counter is older lady so mask is required inside, understandably!
Good deal with GolfNow, would recommend course!
Mulberry
I love this course.
It’s one of my favorite. and the price is amazing.
Course is in great shape and the pace is great .
I will return!!
Old lady working pro shop is the worst and doesn’t respect social distancing
OLD lady working the pro shop was incredibly rude and shouldn’t be working in customer service. Playing in a two-some and was hoping to have two carts to promote social distancing (I was feeling a bit under the weather and wanted to play it safe) and she couldn’t seem to comprehend this. I was fully willing to pay the ride along fee for an additional cart but she wasn’t willing to accommodate this request since I didn’t actually have an extra person riding with me. She claimed they didn’t have any extra carts to spare an additional one when there was easily 50+ carts available and the course was empty.
Covid safe
I for one was impressed with their compliance with Covid 19 standards. Masks must be worn in the clubhouse. The carts were cleaned and sanitized thoroughly.
The worst part of Mul. Hills are the greens. The cups are always mounded in the ground. They are always placed on the side of a hill. For a public course, this is the one place where we are very generous with putting rules and scoring.
A tale of 2 different nines - Challenging but fair course
I’ve played here a number of times and each time I have enjoyed the course layout the well-kept fairways and fast greens. The front nine has challenging par 4s in the 1st and 7th. Better hit it long and straight. The challenging par 3s - 4th, 12th and 16th can be a great from the back tees are uniquely different.
The front nine Is more traditional layout. The back nine has challenging raised greens with a more tournament like feel.
The par 5s - 3rd, 13th and 15th each offer a different challenge with undulating fairways and blind shots.
Am looking forward to playing again next week.
This is not your Hill
Arrived a hour early to warm up. No practice green. Staff makes you feel like a criminal the second you step foot on the property. Plus the club house smells.
Booked with a friend and we wanted our own carts, staff advised there would be an extra charge... Had we but separately wouldn't have been a big deal. They didn't seem to understand that logic.
The course is in average condition.... Some bumps and scrapes in fairways / ECT. Greens are shaped horribly (and I mean ALL of them). Everything is a turtle back and you'll likely be chipping on every hole no matter what part of the green you hit. My irons are high and spin holding a green is usually not a problem... Not here... Lol. It's actually kind of comical. By time you arrive at 12 you already know you won't be back.
I suggest playing something else (try Sugarbush... it's pretty good). Unfriendly staff, poor layout and S#@+ greens. Don't waste your time.
Challenging Course - 2 different Nines
Have played this course a number of times. Enjoy playing it every time.
The 1st and 7th are the.toughest. Better hit it straight and long.
The 3 par 5s - 3rd, 13th and 15th are beautifully designed and play tough from the back tees but are gettable from the white tees.
The 4par 3s 2nd, 4th, 12th and 16th are uniquely different and challenging.
The back 9 has number of raised greens that give tournament feel to it. All green said play fast and it I see always better to Ben below the hole the number above it.
Lots of undulations give and we’ll kept fairway makes it a good test of your game.
Bad experience
First off the club house smells like cat urine...but me and some buddies drove about 30 minutes to go check out the course and ended up showing 5 minutes late. We called to let them know, they said no worries get here when you do. So we got there at 4:20 and the lady would not let us play 18 holes. Never heard of that... So we paid for 9 and went. The group behind us was able to play 18, so we were not happy about that. When we got done with the front 9 it was about 6:45 ish and they wouldn’t let us pay for another 9 or pay for the full 18. The sun goes down at 8:45 so we had plenty of time to get another 9 in but they close at 7. Bunch of old people running the place and it was definitely not worth the drive and I will never be going back.
